Played the save, with one slight change of plan. I noticed that with GK I can get a 1 turn warrior out before employing the scientist, which I decided to do, mainly becasue of gobby:
as you can see from the insertion into the screenshot. It's probably overkill but no harm done. Scientist will be hired next turn and worker started, then Settler.
In other news the skellington decided to walk off into the wilderness, so I have decided to christen him luder ( definition no. 2), for he's a right feckin' eejit altogether.
And finally the demographics:
I'm going up in the world (slightly)! Oh and I forgot to mention I did a little looking on the trade screen, both Acalostas/Mackoti and Kyan have 2 cities as well.

Save is played, beginning to get a bit menaced on both sides now. The warrior was built and Nicker grew to size 4 IBT, so I started on a worker (5 turns) and hired a scientist. Crafting is also a 5 turn tech as well.
I'll probably move OisÃn to Muff and park him one north of the barrow to tank on the skellys, and in about 16-18 turns I'll have my 3rd settler out and ready to plop down at city 2 site.
The lay of the land looks like:
And demographics look like:
Still behind but catching up, or so I keep telling myself.

Oh, I just realised that I didn't give anyone the low-down on OisÃn yet. Well I'm not the best story teller, but he was the son of Fionn McCumhaill (pronounced mac COOL) and a member of the Fianna (the original Fianna not Zanu-FF), fought in many battles but his most famous story is about the time he spent in Brazil.
Enjoy!

So the saves are played. Not much really happened, except for two fights on the interturn.
So the land on turn 43:
resolved as:
mainly due to:
Note both fights were won without a scratch, and the warrior in Muff gained a 2nd xp from which I gave him combat 1. I'll probably name him tomorrow, and send him down to the bower instead of OisÃn. I also moved the worker off the grass hill to the Well, mainly because I changed my mind on food, and moving to the corn would be a waste of time.
Please note also that the worker, the plantation and Crafting will all be done in 3 turns. I'm not sure on Deruptus, early in the Capital will give a nice boost, but it's not a long term good option. I'll think on it.
And demographics:
As you can see I'm still lagging, but I'm not too displeased about my position at the moment, I'll be taking up the slack soon.

Save played, nothing happened, enjoying Irish summer (all one day of it), too hot to think (16 degrees Celsius).

Well I'm Irish, we go lobster pink as soon as the cloud cover is less than 5 miles thick. Along with alcaholism we did invent the original farmer's tan.
