I believe it is a coin flip. popcorn

I'd count double-victory as a draw.

Or maybe just a double victory?

Wouldn't that be when your space ship lands on the same turn you conquer the last remaining rival city? Space/Conquest FTW! hammer

Coin flip seems a bit cheesy after all this effort, shared victory would be better. Obviously not having to share victory would be even better again.

Thanks for the congrats folks, it's nice to know there are a max of nine turns left to play crazyeye...

Given that we launched t265 I assumed the victory occurred eot 275, but a quick check shows it'll be eot274 - so we can still get a solo win.

(Assuming we've counted the number of great artists right and Krill didn't end up gifting that one to TBS) popcorn

I had a quick look in before the reload last night, and Basilisk Caves is much further along than I'd hoped and he's moving the Bureaucap there this turn. frown

I redid the model on Google docs so that you can check my numbers:

If TBS has 8 great artists then I think we can only delay him to t273. If he has 9 then it'll all be over on t270... If we sabotage the cathedrals in Weldyn instead of BC on t268 it still goes legendary t272. alright

Turn 266

Our spy-transporting fleet was devastated this turn. We could possibly kill Immaculate Int, allowing our fleet to shelter and heal in the banana fort. Or we could move it back to Elderberry.

Also the reload killed three of our spies frown.

Oh yeah, and this could be the turn where BGN starts his attack on us.

Or next turn (t267) he'll attack TBS. The problem here is that he needs to stage in Grenoble to avoid TBS's huge fleet, but it's our spy staging post. We can hit Sablestone on t268 with 6 Commando Tanks, 9 Commando Cav, 11 Marines, 6 Amphi Inf and 13 regular tanks. I'll move all our bombers over here to soften it up for him next turn. Thing is - what happens if he wants to declare on us this turn? Fingers crossed he'll hold off until t268...

Any thoughts before I finish off the turn later this evening will be welcome.

What is the state of the defences down there? I think I'd focus on defending. If BGN attacks you, that means he believes he can win, which means he believes he can stop TBS's culture attempt. You can't stop TBS's culture attempt any longer, but you can maintain yourself in a position to be the beneficiary if BGN does.
