Diplomacy Master Thread- Helping Your Opponents Beat Themselves

We have not lost because Mackoti was CFC's turnplayer, but because 4 Civs successfully executed a dogpile against us. Mackoti himself said he had little influence on the diplo side, didn't he? Anyway, by now I guess anyone is free to post whatever he likes at CFC. I just don't share the excitement. And I think a lot of credit has to go to Civplayers and Apolyton for executing the invasion.

That is all true. I just think mackoti playing their turns from this point forward is a win for CFC.

Classic lol. I can only assume from:

That they care, and missing turns are no longer important because the game is essentially over?

dantski - i know im no good at this game, but i played once with mackoti and some others where he destroyed my entire civ with 3 macemen in a few blinks of an eye. it was surreal.

Dantski - check out the "PBEM/PB Game List" google doc sometime. Check the PBEM tab. There's a long string of games where the description is ".... and then Mackoti did <perfect strategic move under the circumstances> and ran away with the game" - many of those came against some pretty good competition too. He's extremely good.

Mackoti's concession posts from PBEM 25, the only game that he's lost, if anyone wants to use them.

If thats not acceptabel we can just name plako as winner.

I'm fine with a simple GG mack when he comes to finish us off and be done with it.

Yeah I think I got a little confused since his pitboss performances haven't been that impressive, but I guess there were a lot of other factors in play in those pitbosses.
