Well the beauty (downfall?) of this game is that one cannot really team up against another player without breaking the rules or--at least--the spirit of the rules. LP has some buffer zone with other players that the western civs can't just get OB to walk through.

LP's subcontinent is beautifully isolated, and his neighbors are simply not good enough to stop him. Still, I'm not sure he can win from where he is, turtling up and teching for space simply won't gurantee a win, not as long as there are powers of similar research strength abroad that could make it a race.
At the beginning of the game, I more or less wrote off Pindicator as a strong player who would be relegated to a minor status in world affairs because of the geographic backwater he started in. Now, I'm not so sure. It looks like he has excellent expansion potential against Sleepingmoogle - who has pretty good land. Sunrise and Team FFH simply don't have the same expansion opportunities available to them.
Also, what is going on with slowcheetah? He's expansive Inca, and should be doing a lot better than he is. Meiz is really beating him black and blue with those HAs, and is now set to get ballista elephants
So, I'm going to bet the next civs eliminated are Azza, followed much later by Slowcheetah, SM, HAK, and Elkad. Rome and Commodore should both be able to hold on a little while before they bite the dust.
What I'm really looking forward to is the inevitable war in the west. Eventually, one of the three: Sunrise, Team FFH, or Lewwyn, is going to get tired of being all neighborly.
Oh, any bets on who starts gunning for a cultural victory first?

why would anyone go for a CV in a AW game? That's just crazy talk.

LP might be pulling away in research power now. I just realized that he made an interesting choice to go all the way to literature before researching mathematics.

It's a ton of really good land, and a few choice economic wonders. I guess he really wanted the GLib. He had plenty of forests and enough workers, so why not?

Minimap shows the land form, at least.
From west to east, from memory:
Rome, Mali (N), Egypt (S), China, Moogle, Lewwyn (N), Aztecs (S), Elkad, Meiz, Yuri (S), Azza/Antisocialmunky (N), TT (dead), LP, HAK, Plako (S), Natives (N), Azza (dead), Germany.
I have to run.
