Lanun surprisingly decide to offer a 10 turn peace treaty instead of the ceasefire. Since I go earlier in the turn order and I don't consider attacking anyone until I have PoL feasible anyway I decided to allow this. The culture on Fur island will grow in a couple of turns preventing galley scouting from the east.
No hostile Amurite units were spotted so far. I have hawks + initial PoL and mobility for my PZ in two turns. Pretty sure I can beat off an invasion if they try anything. The thing is due to slow development they probably have no choice but to fight someone or fade into irrelevance.
General civ management stuff:
Part of the reason I'm been sitting in conquest for 8 turns and spamming PZ is that my city size cap without buildings was stuck at 9 anyway so the best way to make use of extra food was to train military that was necessary anyway. Fur's due online in about 4 turns, pearls in 6, deruptus in 10 as of EOT, so I have the option to revert to Agrarianism/vertical growth when these come in since temples, public baths and carnival/tiger are all available. This would also involve building plenty of cottages as too many farms under StW eventually become redundant anyway.
It really depends on whether I think the long game is at all feasible in the absence of the ability to properly coordinate a stop the broken civ leader attack.
city sizes (11): 11/10/9/9/9/9/8/7/2/1/1.
Non-warrior units currently stand at 10 PZ, parallel PoL production starting.
I have 2 ancient forest growths in 2 turns because the game likes to annoy me like that when I don't play elves.

That's a problem as OO and econ techs are screaming "research me."
