Our settler is completed, city will be founded next turn. dtay's second city is already founded.
Bronze working will be out in 3t and we might have something to talk about again.

Good It's a bad habit of mine to just set up a plan then report the next time when it's completed. Lurkers deserve more!

Copper where art thou?
Well, that cow/gold spot just moved up in our priorities a bit. I was going to suggest making it city no. 4 or 5, skipping the north clam and maybe fitting in a city by the plains cow along the way. Now I think maybe even city 3, just have to check if we have the worker turns to road up there in time. Oracle completes T51, settler T55 IIRC and we have 3 workers, so it sounds doable. Dr. Tachyon could get out a few warriors to cover them.
City overview:
Jetboy

I realised we could work the lake over the forest here, the extra hammer in overflow on the next worker would just get lost by rounding.

This new expansive is fun! After this WB, this city is fairly flexible in what it builds, WB, warriors, size 2 worker, some hammers into a granary are all options, depends on what we decide on city 3.
Also, I think we can chop and cottage the shared grass forest river tile between Jetboy and Dr Tachyon instead of the other plains hill mine. We save 2 worker turns on the road East of Jetboy and we had 1 spare worker turn anyway, so the extra forest chop shouldn't slow down the Oracle, just allow Dr. Tachyon to work clams/cottage at size 2 instead of clams/mine. I think that's probably better?

Hmm, if we put that chop into Dr Tachyon, we can get 3 warriors covering the 2 workers and the settler. We can also send the scout to keep an eye on the area. We could found that city T59, revolting to Slavery/OR while it's moving.
Alternatively, putting the chop into Jetboy would speed things up by a turn, but we're down to 1 covering warrior which seems too risky.
Another idea, if the fish-cow city becomes city no.4, we can move it 1W and makes sure it has a missionary the turn it founds. Then at size 1 it can work the cows and it will only spend a few turns at size 2 before the fish comes online. That gets us another forest, Ivory first ring for happy, and clams second ring so we don't need another city for them much later.

100% go with the three warriors, no question about it, especially when settling so far out. I don't really *like* settling that far, but it's such a good spot that we can't afford losing it. It would be very annoying to have dtay or someone else snatch that spot before us, denying our best copper city and they would have a front city on a hill behind a river!

Wait a second, is that a mine on our marble? Was that planned? Sorry for being a bit out of the loop.
EDIT: NVM yes it is according to plan. Good :P

The marble mine is 4 wasted worker turns, but we need improved tiles for our cities to work and it's our next best tile. We do work it for quite a while before the marble quarry comes online and it triggers some extra expansive hammers as well as you can see.
Thinking about it now, maybe I could have chopped a forest instead into the work boat. Not sure if that would have been better, ah well.

In the interests of keeping you informed, I'll try a little more frequent reporting.
Our scout moves in on the goody hut:
Dr Tachyon's WB is finished, so the mines moves back to Jetboy, allowing us to just squeeze out this worker.
Dr Tachyon is going warrior -> warrior(with chop) ->few hammers into granary, while growing to size 3 on clams and cottage. Then I'm thinking a 5t worker using clams, mine, quarry.
Jetboy follows the oracle plan, after the cottage the workers can start the pre-chopping/quarrying.
What's your opinion on pre-maths chops by the way? I'd love to save the forests until then, but with going so far up the religion line, I don't think we have time to get maths before backfilling most of the Ancient era techs. I was testing out a plan post-oracle and I ended up mostly deforesting Jetboy and Dr Tachyon. I'm also wondering if I should save some forests around 1 city in particular in case we want to try for another wonder.

From what I've learned from Qg in PB12, we should chop everything as soon as humanly possible :P I trust his opinion on that.
We should get Colossus done with minimal chops since we have the tech so much earlier than the rest if our slingshot works out.

I'll chop at will then, let the tree huggers beware.
Yeah, Colossus can be slow built somewhere, I was more thinking of another marble wonder down the line. We have no Calendar resources so MoM is probably out, it'd have to be something down the Aestethics ->Lit line. The mainland is fairly heavily forested though, shouldn't be hard to find a spot there if necessary.
