Partly because of the fact he has over 8 nodes...hell, I could have teched Sourcery, all 4 prior techs and a good chunk of the next tech if I hadn't teched IW.

Not really. It would have been touch and go to survive PoW rush in good shape, and I think it's fair to say I'd have been targeted first over the Sidar.

FWIW, I only just got to IW on T125ish. With Hunting and KotE on top of that, well, looking at t130 before I was ready to even defend myself, so I don't think it's fair to say it was down to the NAP. Though I suppose warfare with a billion warriors would have been feasible.
