RB PB7[Spoilers] - Team Bean

AH is finally researched and I do like the sight nod. And finally my worker begins to pasture the pigs! Reveal of horses also decides the spot for my second city.

I don't even need a monument here for a while, since capital will pop borders soon. Research is set to fishing and my fresh city's first task will be to build two work boats, one for itself and one for capital.

Note the clever axeman hiding behind the signpost smile. Yuris will never see him coming!

Regarding long term plans, well... I don't really have anything decided yet. I'd love to build the pyramids and colossus to fuel a specialist economy. I could beeline to metal casting -> build a forge to get a quick engineer out -> finish pyramids. I have no idea if I'm already too late with this plan or not, have to think about it...

Then again, I could just rush someone (Yuris) with axes and chariots hammer. I will get to see his demographics next turn, which will decide a lot.

Some drama has started to emerge lol

Yuris spotted my axe, but for some reason did not back down. I was sure of some sort of trap, but then again his power graphs don't indicate that he would had much of a military. The battle is easily won and no chariots are in sight, at least so far.

My settler will be finished in about 3 turns (it's a guess, I didn't bother to calculate how pastured pigs affect the build time).

I guess it would be too much to hope that the lion in the picture below would have someone's settler in his stomach? tongue

Pasture did not decrease the build time for settler, so I decided to whip it for 1 turn. Therefore my second city is nicely timed with the discovery of fishing.

Blue bean is finally founded. Blue as in it has a lot of water... ehrm.. yeah. lol

Ah, here it is tongue

Still the lands look pretty barren, so I will put my best efforts on getting the gold / wheat spot up north. My capital is currently building another spear, which will be finished in 5 turns, just as I'll grow to size 4. I will most likely start my second settler at that point.

Yuris has at least one copper for the taking. He's well aware of my warrior, so I'm wondering at what point there is a welcome party waiting for me behind the fog smile

Stinky bean popped borders and gave me nice visibility of the surroundings. I've got higher power rating than Yuris and slowcheetah, so my fears of early rush were way off tongue

My exploring warrior is standing on the gold tile. Lots of barbarian activity, so I'll be sending the axe (guarding copper) towards the next city spot while the fresh spear will take the guarding duty.

Just invented the wheel and my worker started to pasture the horses. Chariots will be handy smile Research is set for mysticm, since monument is the first thing my new city will need. My GNP is not that great, so I will start to head towards granaries and libraries next.
