[SPOILERS] Welcome to the Kuro Corporation! (Kuro and BaII)

Anyone know exactly how many hammers you get per pop from whipping a wonder? I know for standard stuff on Normal it is 1 pop = 30 hammmers...

I am not sure if we are going to be able to whip it to completion. It seems the workers will be doing a lot of chopping rather building tile improvements. So we are not likely going to get the population back that fast. Besides I would rather have that whip go into a fishing boat so we can improve the fish and then start going on a whipping frenzy whip Also shouldn't it be the exact same conversation rate?

Wonders are more expensive to whip/cash rush than normal buildings or units. I've whipped some starting ones like Stonehenge before, but on later ones...yeah.

Workers probably won't be improving tiles for a while anyway, the real question is if we want to throw the chops at Settlers/Workers (Slow-building Warriors or whatnot) or go for Stonehenge.

Right now I am leaning on putting those chops into Settlers/Workers. If we do want to found Stonehenge we have to make a lot of cities for the pay off.

Math behind this: let's say we throw 5 chops into settlers and 1 chop into a worker

5(20)(50%)+20(25%)
100(50%)+4
50+4=54 So pretty much we have to found at least 5 cities for Stonehenge to pay off. So if you think it will be worthwhile, then go ahead, I will sim out the best way to get Stonehenge.

Hmmmmm. I admit, I do quite like REXing up, so I'm iffy on Stonehenge when you put it like that. I think it might depend on how fast we can get Stonehenge out: If it's a bit slow, it's probably worth it just to avoid Stonehenge and go through the pain of self-building culture. Would it be alright if you ran a sim on how best to get Stonehenge up with the possibility we won't go for it?

If we go against the Stonehenge plan, I presume we'll go Bronze Working -> Agriculture...what do you think about getting Hunting afterwards? Deer is a good food tile and it'll cheapen Animal Husbandry, plus let us go to an emergency Archery if needed. We could also head right to The Wheel and Pottery or just go for AH (I imagine AH descisions depends on how many AH resources are around, though).

What's the best way to move the Scout, you think? I'm thinking either 1SW or onto the Deer.

I believe going hunting afterwards is the better idea, the deer is a nice tile to use, and once we hit size 4 we can start pumping out settlers really quickly with the 4 food resources we have. Then head to AH to look for horse, and hopefully allow for a better 2nd city site. Afterwards wheel and pottery should be next for a granary. We are going to be whipping out a lot of settlers from the capital so it only seems reasonable. we go for pottery next.

Right, that makes sense. My only worry is that if we get Pottery too late we might crash our econ since we'll have to keep a decent standing army due to barbarians.

I really don't see how our economy could crash and burn though. If we needed to get commence, we could just work some of the lake and coast tiles for the extra commence. I think we should move the scout SW first, to see if it is worthwhile to found our capital further south to if there are more forests there.
