[SPOILERS] There Can Only Be One Suttree - French Fredrick - LOL, Sut?

EVENTS
*The plan continues. Horses are up t38 and the cap grows that turn. The corn is up this turn, the cow follows t39.
*Sisu revolted to slavery - presumably his settler is in transit. Seems late for a BW start. Come on Xenu - Stonehenge!

*Sisu is last to move, so don't know if he settled yet.
*Noted that Xenu didn't revolt to slavery during his settler move - nice to see someone else is still waiting on BW.

*Sisu did settle last turn.
*Newfound grows.
*After the cow is up, my worker will return to the cap to assist in hammer production. I really need to get sight on copper before I can plan my development - 3rd city site could be any one of Ivory, Sheep, or Fish. Independent of copper, it will be ivory. 'twill be settled early 50's.

*Finally, stuff is happening.
*Met Azza - he's met Sisu but not Xenu. Lucky bastard, his scout survived my bear perimeter - not worried about him screwing with my micro since (next turn) there are two warriors in the area. He could be 15T away to the north-west, though his scout may have come far.
*Clingmans Dome - Workboat is finished. Next turn I'll work seafood instead of horse to grow to size 4 on T42.
*Newfound Gap - Finishes a warrior and grows to size 3 next turn. Will start up a worker finishing T47.

*Fleshed out my plan to t52.

*I had considered sacrificing a hammer or two to get Bronze Working T44, but this does nothing to speed my development - my initial chop is for a chariot.

So BW T45 -> Pottery T51/52 -> Sailing -> Writing

I might need mysticism - depends on the location of copper. Based on what I see, I'm considering rushing Monarchy, bulbing Mathematics.

*I'll mine the plains hill in the cap in order to use my chops efficiently, switching one seafood to a mine when I chop - so one forest = 32 hammers.

*My next settler is up T51 and settled T52, I'm leaning heavily towards the ivory site, independent of copper. It's close, it synergizes well with Newfound Gap, and once a granary is up it can serve as my initial military camp.

*Newfound is building a worker and will chop out a second by T51, just in time to rapidly develop the third city and construct my first cottages. Newfound will whip in a granary, regrow, then 3-whip a library.

EOT51 GOAL:
Clingmans Dome - Size 5 - Deer, Cow, Horse, Crab x 2
Newfound Gap - Size 3 - Cow, Corn, FP
4 Workers
1 Settler
3 Warrior
2 Chariot

Why chop a chariot?

Two answers, I guess:

1) I want to get a scout out - chariot seems a good choice.

But mainly,

2) I don't have another efficient way to generate hammers - so I chop.

Thoughts?

EDIT: To be more clear - I'm of the mind that chopping in support of a settler in a high fh city is counter productive (esp. pre-math) unless there is nothing better for the workers to do (ie road to new city is already built, forests at city site are already pre-chopped for infrastructure. I'm chopping here because I need scouting units and this method has the least opportunity cost. As always, I'm open to criticism.
