Since you jacked your own thread anyway... I feel like any of the top 5 NA teams below C9 can beat each other on any given day though. I'm not a fan of the scheme were we never get international competition except twice a year, but I wonder if NA is going to get crushed by the Asian teams at worlds or not.

I disagree with that, I think Vulcan can usually beat CLG, Curse and Dig, only TSM really give them a run for their money, but TSM can win or lose against any of those three.
That said, the whole international competition point is a difficult one to judge, as RIOT are basically funding LCS and the tournaments out of their own pocket, with the aim of making it self sustaining. Hopefully once it is self sustaining there will be many more such tournaments, maybe with an ATP or golf style tour in the future.
