Turn 29

Will found a religion next turn as long as stonehenge does not finish.

Scout in the middle of the map has not found much this turn

Turn 30

The 'Molotov-Ribbentrop for Life' movement has sprung up and all Russian citizens rejoice! They wish to share there new found faith with there German neighbors, and over the coming centuries every one shall  bow .

As was discussed Defenders of the Faith and Choral Music were the beliefs.

I bought a trader with the money you sent me.

I am going to run this from swampbram to holybram. The routes to German lands are too dangerous at the time being. Both cities are due to grow in 3 turns and both cities are building shrines.
I am keeping my warrior in the area to defend the route. Once I can slot Agoge I will build a couple slingers, and another warrior.

I made a bad move with my scout and it may get him killed.

I went ahead and sent Woden this deal.

I don't see much benefit from declaring war, and that settler will be defended next turn. As the game progresses we should go over how to handle diplomacy since now that we are meeting people things will happen in between turns.

3 turns on craftmanship. Builder is in rough terrain.

We need at least 1 more scout, Alswampbram could provide this. As soon as the campus is finished, I will churn out 3 more warriors and a slinger and go for Granada. Also could I have some money for a change to buy a builder for Nuln?

Also imo, Bay City is a huge priority, it is an excellent site and is very defensive. So our plan should now be:

- You finish a shrine in the capital and get a 2nd scout.
- Then 2 settlers in both cities for bay city and winebram
- I go for an army for Granada and then 2 settlers as well, maybe we can go for the Scientist.
- Given our money situation and the suboptimal city sites of our commercial city states we might be better off to keep both of them around.

What do you think?

-I will give you money, that is no problem.
-scout up after shrine in capital ya good chance mine will die at some point
-2 settlers i think should wait until EE? could pump out a unit of some sort, at least a couple slingers to escort the settlers, my one warrior defense is not going to last forever
-Ya I say we don't take them until they build there districts, the eastern one that gives a good bonus is most likely in a very good spot so we will probably have to get it at some point.

-I like bay city but instead of winebram, howabout freshwaterbram spot i put down? I have to search the area first but it should still allow for canal cities to be placed. 

-holybram is ready for another district, do you want me to wait for theater or is commerce ok to wait for? I guess I could put down a science one? either way my tech path is going to head towards the next district there.

-I also need builders, so those will probably be worked in after settlers.

EDIT: looking back over the map winebram is not only safer it also gets the +4 hs so that will be city #4 with bay city as #3

I have a couple of turn reports but nothing that important. I decided not to move through Woden's lands and go around. I would really like to keep this scout so don't want to do anything that may piss them off.

Placed down a whole bunch of district markers. Nothing is set in stone but I think my two science districts will be placed in the safety of the south. Once we get theaters those will take priority, Just seems a waste when cities hit size 4 to not build the earlier districts. Also commerce districts are going up all over as well. Bay city will probably be my only city with both them, the rest will either build a harbor or a commerce depending on location.

Final note on the colosseum.
-My plan is to get 5 cities total, winebram (think i will name oysterbram, since i got wine all over) baybram (i'll think of something different) and then a city to the west of holybram. I will scout out that fog area but freshwaterbram or canalbram are also options.
-I will need some Military and I would also need to build many, many builders.
-With my culture quickly out pacing singaboy I think I can make a good run for it. Then theology would be the next civic I would aim for.
-So rush to PP skipping Military Tradition and Mystisim then Games, Theater one then Theology.
-It is a gamble but Rome gets all of the Culture and China still has to research with inspiration, all of which I can have. Construction tech will be after currency I think.

If you don't want me to try for it then I will just go for theology.
It would be nice to get a wonder though. Maybe Iron one if I can find a desert hill?
Holybram has tons of chopping that can be done.

Good chance I will get the first Great Writer, We should each grab a great work from him since I don't have any where to put both of them.

Finally a bit of time on my hands.
District markers look good.

Good job on the scouting, continue vaguely westward checking for CS, we want to see if we can find out which team is next to them so we get a rough idea on who is bordering whom.

The scout seems intent to hassle, Agoge is slotted in on my end, so it should be inspired for you as well, please verify.

Building the colloseum is a huge gamble, and difficult to pull off. Do beeline it, but right now we need another batch of cities, so EE is a priority.

Campus is done, so we might get a cheap lead on GS.

   

Seriously build a slinger or a warrior. And protect your trader, those barb scouts are really an issue for traders, trust me there. shades

Shrine done, slinger slotted 2 turns. Craftsmanship eureka hit so 1 turn till agoge

Switched to max production in both cities.
