Pretty easy test actually. If the confirmed positive cases in any given area is about 2% of that area's population, it's basically over for that area. (It'll never be completely over - we will have a trickle of cases forever - among other things it's in the feral cat population, so they will infect outside housecats, who will infect their owners).
I don't think humans can catch it from pets.
google: At this time, there is no evidence that pets, including cats and dogs, play a role in spreading COVID-19 to people. The virus that causes COVID-19 spreads mainly from person to person, typically through respiratory droplets from coughing, sneezing, or talking
They aren't talking about 'over' because it can easily flow back to previous levels if we relax our approach (masks, social gathering, etc).
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Commodore sets his color to black just to mess with us even more.
Welcome! Actually a lot of green or mostly green players in this game!
Edit: I've added everyone to the voting spreadsheet fyi. Maybe we can get 3 more votes for no barbarians (seriously though scooter has converted me that this is a good idea )

Shame that all the barb jokes have been done already, but welcome Barbarian. As you joined the forums for this signup, have you played multiplayer before? Else, it should be very helpful to find a team partner (dedlurker) to discuss strategy and save you from common pitfalls.
Barb and EG, there's a link to a spreadsheet to vote on settings in the second part of the thread, can you fill yours in?

Also, looking at the votes it's pretty clear that we'll play this with CtH mod. Amy objections to v1.4 (most recent)? I guess we should then include into voting whether we want to have Charriu's modifications to inflation and war weariness?

With regards to war weariness, don't forget that Colosseums now also give -25% war weariness.

Voted, and I'm willing to test the new WW/inflation settings.
