[LURKERS] WW48: Watching Television

Maybe it is because of me not really following this game, but I don't understand this post by GES

Quote:1)  Robot--50%:  This roleclaim is almost completely unverifiable.  But Omar's real problem is that Robot claims he tipped his tin-dome that he was using his ability on Skelly, but when Skelly ended up apparently being targeted by a villain ability stripping his role, Robot dropped that claim.  That seems pretty convenient to Omar because that would have been the one time Robot's ability would have been really useful.  That said, this is not higher because I am not even sure any of us would have known Robot was tipping us off to targeting Skelly if he didn't admit it himself later.

If Kaiser is part of the villain-group, he would have known who the villains target. It makes therefore no sense that he would claim to use his ability on this player just to have to drop the claim afterwards as to not having to out one of the villains. It also makes no sense that he would tell the village himself that he hinted at using his ability on player A but really targeting player B. I would understand this argument if GES would not attribute the role-stripping ability as a villain-role, but he does, which makes his whole argument look bad.

I also distrust Rowains "lynch all liars"-policy-vote. That would be the correct play if the village caught that player in a lie. But they haven't. He admitted to a "ruse", that they themselves did not even realize happened. This is just a lazy way to get off to a new target - I haven't checked the current voting, but I wouldn't be surprised to see that Rowains switch / vote leads to an unstable voting-situation.

Lynch all liars is a nice canard and all, but it's dangerous to policy-lynch over anything this late in the game.

So we're more than halfway through the day and half the people in the game haven't voted yet ?

Yeap, you could see it happening during Day 3 when basically it was just me and pin. Town is lost.

I don't really get it, being lost is not a good reason not to vote. Nothing stops you from voting elsewhere later.

What a lovely game Alhambram finds himself in. He thinks everybody is town!

Don't worry, I think everyone is scum.

Well, not everyone. I'm suspicious of Gaspar, Kaiser, Meiz, and the super-lurkers.

Thanks for everyone being so understanding.

I absolutely agree. Kaiser liked his power roles a bit too much in WW47, which no-one is really picking up on here.

Meiz needs to die today or village is screwed, I can't think of a single explanation why he is still alive if he is town, and that role claim/disability is fishy as hell. But it looks like people are more interested in Kaiser.

Waldorf: Catch!

Statler: Waste of time. Nothing will save the village now.

Both: Doh-ho-ho-ho-ho!

"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow.
