In PBEM17, I was up Chemistry on oledavy and the fact that he was a dutch was a big factor in his eventually winning that war. 6v8 is a lot more doable than 4v8.

Just a mapmaker note, this was the very first map I rolled and player location was strictly bound to turn order, I made no modifications to that. Which is why I was also very happy to see a close border between seven and krill, anxious to see that play out.

My very green opinion is that he should suck it up and rush Seven, or die trying. With an unbalanced script, you play the map, and this map says "rush." <shrugs>

I'll repeat that I explicitly asked the players about this issue, and Krill accepted the map setup process as I did it, and agreed with Seven on the choice of first map rolled, no rerolling or mapmaker balancing. There's really nothing else to say after that IMHO.
