Next step is to reach his capital before his forces are back from Russia.

In a dreamworld Azza would declare on Ichabod but I doubt he will do that.

So far the casualities are few: Ichabod lost 1 Lancer,1 1Artillery and 1 City. Till now I have lost nothing but I expect to lose 3 Units this turn. yuris has for 2 turns not responded to my tradeoffer. Maybe he is so checked out that he misses the small icon for it.

How do you like your chances for taking Ichabod's capital? I see you power is high, most likely thanks to legionnaires. But it seems like Ichabod has quite a lot of artillery already waiting for you.

Ichabods problem is that his capital is right on my border and my empire is more compact than his. In a long fight I might be able to break through. The real thing is what Azza and yuris do.
I have offered yuris a trade( 2 luxuries + iron for his 1 luxury ) but so far he has not reacted to it. Civ 5 makes it easy to overlook such an offer if you are checked out enough.

Azza has a chance to take the ex-Russian territory but he is technological backward (which I will be interested to learn how that happened).

As expected I lost 3 units (2 arties 1 Cav). On the counterattack I only killed 1 Longswordman as a Musket that was expected to die did survive with 1 hp. Next turn I expect to lose 2 of my Foreign Legion but that can't be helped.

Got a new Artist and started another Golden Age to increase income (for upgrading ) and production.

Started the research on Electricity as this has been already researched by someone.

Took Os Ratos Ichabods city west of Utique and set it to burn.

He can take it back but that would mean some less units to defend his capital. Used the capturemoney to rushbuy a shrine to keep below 10 unhappiness.
