Turn 40:

Indeed level 4 berserker broke the stalemate at Cordoba and I took it, another head of great civilization's leader is added upon spike:
   
   
I moved away level 4 berserker from city after capturing, if Chevduke is wondering about no unit in city, this is the reason.
I put piority upon harbors and commerical hubs due 25 VP per trade route and with hacksilver they are worth double.

And I also took Pisa:
   
Just look all that units running around, scramble of Italy is ongoing! Grotlizard has best chance to capture Neapolis. I try to capture both Roma and Venice.
But Grotlizard is advancing against me and at same time Chevduke is breathing in my neck, so I shall see whether I can capture more cities.

We did break though 10000 points limit, our current score is 10160 now.

If we have a few galleys and a battering ram to spare it migth be worth sending them plus a beserker down to Balarm to try to beat the Swedish fleet there.
Sending units to their death since 2017.

Turn 41:

Swedish fleet is around Balarm already, I shall see what I can do here.
   
But I think that I am too late. I can redirect units meant for Balarm towards Tunis instead.

And around Italy I merely postioned my units.
   
Note that our berserker next Rome is a corps one, so he can cut down walls in 1 turn, but it mean gifting city to Grotlizard with their 3 beserkers.
So I shall check next turn what I can do.


I set up another 100% chop in Bergen, overflow shall go to commerical district for VP and adjacency bonuses.
I plan to buy 2 missionaries next turn to get boost for last normal civic before future civic. Missionaries can convert non catholic cities.

Turn 42:

Around Rome it is stalemate same as with Cordoba, who atttacks first, shall not take city. Need to bring in level 4 Berserker from Spain here, he shall arrive next gates of Rome at turn 46.
   
I managed to do a tactical move: a berserker moved through empty coast tiles to east side of Venice, I didn't attack enemy huscarl otherwise Grotlizard is able to kill off it with berserker.
I just wait tlll huscarl attacks me and then I kill it in counterattack.

I can sneak in a berserker west of Balarm, but initative lies with Grotlizard around Balarm.
   
I make move towards Tunis, blocking and pillaging (100th pillage of this game! devil )

Our score: 10675
   
I purchased 2 missionaries and bought a tile at Dun Breatann so it can build commerical district there.
Also harvested a copper next Oslo so I can build Aqueduct there for more housing, I shall harvest Iruna crab next turn to build harbor there.

I did finish exploration but not government swap yet, I wait till there isn't any city states left to capture, then I shall swap out Oligrachy. Grotlizard also did finish exploration but still in Oligrachy same as me.

Turn 43:

Made a little nasty discovery: only copper is harvestable and not other bonus resources in this scenario. banghead 
So no crab harvest, just copper ones.

Around Rome and Venice it is stalemate till my level 4 berserker arrives.
   
And it seems that Grotlizard is taking Balarm this turn, but I got best shot for Tunis.

I did finish first future tech of all players, next turn pillage marble next Venice and I might start future civic already.

Yeah, full invasion of Tunis.

Turn 44:

Grotlizard took Balarm as expected and decided to go after Neapolis it seems, it leave me free to take Tunis.
   
Next turn start attack on Tunis and with bit luck it is taken next turn already.

Around Rome and Venice still stalemate, level 4 berserker is arriving at gates next turn, turn 46 start attack on Rome.
   
Another then conquest, I keep growing cities, adding aqueducts, farms and barracks for housing entertrainment districts for extra amenties.

Turn 45 and 46

At turn 45 nothing much happened, I attacked but not yet took Tunis and level 4 berserker moved in position before gates of Rome.

Then turn 46, I took both Tunis and Rome. Level 4 berserker again was MVP when sacking Rome same as Cordoba.
   
   
I moved away Level 4 berserker from Rome in direction of Venice, it is now promoted to level 5 beserker.

Score: Grotlizard managed to pass us with Neapolis and bunch of new cities, but with conquest of Rome and Tunis we retook lead.

Turn 47:

Venice has been attacked by someone, walls got cut in half. The danger here is that Grotlizard might damage it enough for Chevduke to take it.
   
I managed to position both level 5 berserker and berserker corps next Venice, next turn if it isn't taken by Chevduke, the city is ours.

Grotlizard is slowly creeping up us in score, just 600 points difference now, we really need to take Venice to create one more final buffer against evergrowing cities of Sweden.
After 3 turns government swap into Merchant Republic and go full economic and we shall see how things ends at turn 60.

Turn 48:

Took Venice and with this all non viking cities has been conquered in this scenario.
   
   
   
Cities that lacks harbor or commerical district or both, builds them, cities already having both starts entertrainment districts to combat empirewide unhappiness.

Score (our score are 12945):
   
12 turns left with 900 points advantage and we have over 3500 gold which is 350 VP points itself against Grotlizard's treasury which is under 400 gold.
I am not going spend any faith or gold anymore, and after 2 turns civic/government swap to improve faith and gold earnings.
I already deleted most berserkers to save up gold, remaining units heals till full health so I can get rid of them.
