Ignoring the benefit of the hammer bonus in Beaurocracy to simply calculate the benefits of the commerce side would be to total your commerce and add 50% right? Then it's just a matter of comparing that benefit with your cost reduction the free units provide from vassalage? Or is there more to it than that?

Usually Bureo has the edge, usually. post a screenie of your capital - make sure you hover over the commerce info so it shows up. Post an F2 screen image too, otherwise no lurker could even attempt to work out an answer

As soon as T150 rolls I'll take the requested screenshots so I don't have to take more than necessary. Just for clarification when you say "make sure you hover over the commerce info" your talking about what's in the upper left corner of my screen right?

The costreduction of Vassalage reduces your total costs before Inflation hits. So you save more than just the direct Unit-costs. As both civics are noted to have high upkeep I guess they have the same costs but thats a thing you can easily check.

Turn 150 - Coruscant (Current Capital):

I don't have a clear idea of what I want to do with Coruscant beyond the next several turns. I need another Horse Archer and beyond that will depend on how the war goes. Ideally I'd start on infrastructure like a forge and a market.

Turn 150 - Kashyyyk:

Kashyyyk is pure military duty at the moment. Catapults and Horse Archer's mainly. Will reevaluate as the war goes. As soon as it can it will get a library and all the grass tiles will be cottaged but that's a ways off yet.

Turn 150 - Endor (Future Capital):

I absolutely love Endor. As soon as the forge is done I plan on getting the capital moved here. That could always get delayed depending on the near future.

Turn 150 - Istanbul:

Another great city, more production oriented. After the forge I'm not decided on a path yet though I'll probably be in OR at that point so getting some missionaries out is a good possibility.

Turn 150 - Yavin IV:

Yavin IV will be on military duty for the forseeable future. Axes, Spears and possibly an occassional Archer.

Turn 150 - Clak'dor VII:

Another great city. Though after this Horse Archer it will probably build a forge and then a market. Again all dependant on how things go.

Turn 150 - Corellia:

Again another main military pump right now. Except I'll probably interrupt after this catapult to get a forge in. Next turn a chop comes in which would be nice to have in the forge. With one more forest to go in as well a forge shouldn't take long.

Turn 150 - Dantooine:

This should be a very strong commerce city. After the forge I'll be starting on a market. Once I can get some workers up to cottage the tiles I'll lose the scientists.

Turn 150 - Alderaan:

I'll whip the granary at size 4. What I do after that I'm not sure though. I might have to dump some military into here to protect it from a possible threat from either India or Mali.

Turn 150 - Tatooine:

For now the plan is to just continue to get infrastructure in place.

Turn 150 - Corulag:

Again I just need to get infrastructure in place here right now. The granary was just whipped and overflow will go into either a forge or a library. Not sure yet.

Almost forgot.

@0% science I'm currently getting 15 beakers. 100% cash I get 76 gpt. Would have been in the 90's (like last turn) except I closed borders with the Inca this turn so they couldn't see my stack. Both our chariots are now within our respective borders.

@100% science I am getting 320bpt and 0% cash I am losing 185gpt.

Anyways I goofed on T150. When I went back into the game to check my research figures I left it on 100% research. I ended up with a TON of overflow from priesthood which netted me monarchy in 1 turn at 0% research. I can't complain about that but I lost a bunch of gold that was supposed to be for unit upgrades. Result: I'll be short 2 spearmen but that's ok.

I'll keep everybody updated.

Dammit - hate it when I make slips like the max science one - it's just annoying! Still, monarchy off overflow has to be a sign of a healthy economy...
