Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

[SPOILERS] Gira under Pindicator's surveillance

Oh! I didn't realize we would be waiting 2 turns to settle- that is not good and not worth 16h. We should have chopped the settling square first rather than delaying.

At this point I would either settle and just accept that we lost out on the 16h or I would move north to settle the corn/fish. But that is too far; we should settle.

Even one turn delays this early are huge because everything we do from here is based on how quick we get our first cities built.

We lose only 1 turn.  If we  had chopped first the "settling tile",  the settler would be finished 1 turn later, so the delay would be the same.  Also in this way we will have the 2nd worker in 2 turns, whipping only 1 pop, and we can go for a 3rd settler righ away with 3pop in Moscow.

Below a sim for the next turns until Akademy (T34-T67).  A summary:
- T36:   St.Pete, 2nd city
- T39:   3rd setter started + Worker2 built + Warrior2 built
- T44:   3rd settler built (3T to set) + Pottery,  Worker2 making road to Nogodorov (3rd city),  Worker 1 chopped forest near Moscow & making road to copper.
- T54:   4rd settler built (+1 warrior) -> start library in Moscow, 2 workers on Pigs + 1 worker on Sheeps
- T60:  library built, put 2 scientist
- T67: Akademy in Moscow

*reseach:   pott->writting->agriculture(3)->sailing(7) ,  not convinced about the last 2, cause until T60 won't need Corn, and may be Galleys are more needed before
* one worker goes early for the copper (done in T51), I don't know if it is so crucial, but from T50 archers, axes  barbars can appear
* in this sim i didn't found time to make villages, and this could be a flaw, but the cities couldn't really work villages tiles.

Naufragar is the East player near Miguelito and MrCairo.  They seem to very closer than me.  Now I have the doubt of going SE-S and go down by the east of Miguelito or going W-NW to go down by the West side.
I'm afraid that going by the east I can get stuck by Miguelito's border.

In 2 turns St.Pete will be set. And we start a Worker.

I think S-SE is better because we want to explore the area to our east and then head south of us to our southwest

Anarcky.  I change to Slavery before settling St.Petersbourg next turn.  The Scout reveals border of Naufragar and is besides border of Miguelito.  I think SE-S for the next move.

We have contacted 6 players already.

Miguelito has founded his 2nd City near the tag of his warrior. I moved the Scout south, and I hope to be able to exit northward in the next 2 turns.

St. Petersburg has been founded, start to build a warrior (until 2pop and then worker). It is working the fish tile.  This lowers a little bit the hammers of Moscow for making the Worker, but there are enough and next turn I will whip the Worker for 1pop.  Right away the two workers will make the road between both cities.

Next turn Wheel is researched, and we go for Pottery.

Here a pic of the cities and Demographics.

The Scout goes back north around Miguelito's city.

In Moscow, I whiped 1pop for getting the worker, and they will joint with a road both cities.  After the worker a Warrior will be built in 1turn and I start the 3rd Settler that will out in 6 turns.  For this settler I plan to chop the forest south of Moscow.

I put the research at 0 to begin with the 0-100% change

I think this next settler should go south, to the spot 5S of the capital. It has the pigs to grow on at first, which we can improve before the city is founded, and then it has very good tiles to work in the Copper, Deer, and 2 Furs. I know the northern spot is a priority, but this has too many bonus resources to pass on. I think going south first will help us more in the long run.

Ok, so I start making the road to the copper and make the pigs ASAP.
