So 1W and then second would be on sugar? I mean you could but then you are just inviting war for little gain. Could I get away with it sure, but I actually don't gain much and short term I don't think I would.
Have I thought about eventually razing his city and putting a city on the other plains hill on his side. I mean sure, but not anywhere close to yet. I suspect will happen when Cornfalkes hits cats. The nice thing about GLH is the two most likely civs to collapse are Bing and SaC. With both I can pick up more coastal cities eventually.

As stated this city is a nice safe border city SaC that will also help grow cottages for other cities. Eventually it will probably be just some fishing village, but while I'm happy capped I really do need to grow cottages for other cities long term. High city count is also keeping me solidly relevant.
Oh you wanted a war report? Ya big fat nothing. Bing evacuated his city and I razed with no losses. I thought about flashing my army to Pin as it passes, but I really am worried about Cornflakes just showing up. T89 I'll whip my next two settlers, which will sadly drop my income a bit.

Do I have plans to chop all 3 forest into the granary for this city. You bet I do. Bing has an axe that looks like maybe he is thinking of coming back over here, but I hope he has learned. Anyways, you may be wondering what is up with this food graph. The answer is HAPPINESS PLEASE PLEASE. I have some really weird tile micro assignments right now. So of my 10 settled cities 9 have made use of creative (only my 2nd didn't need although I liked the safety vision). That being said, Napoleon would look awful good about now...... I haven't played with only 1 happiness in a while.... The only reason protective is outperforming org for me is GLH. Speaking of which once I get a library in it is responsible for producing a great person to get me the heck out of this. May be in a bulb math mode if I get over merchant. I'm pretty sure I get IW after writing first to literally chop one jungle....... It easily pays for itself in 10 turns.
Do I have another settler finishing with another I put in the next turn. Of course I do! Non coastal cities too sadly. I originally was going to settle two cities this turn, but delayed the one settler so it would settle after I finish writing. I'll probably delay the next one a bit as well and I'm already thinking about doing a worker instead as I feel like I need 1 more in the east.

Thanks Mig for taking over this weekend. I'll try to note up tonight / tomorrow. My tile micro has been weird and sporadic, but don't put yourself through all that.
I think you may get to name a city btw! I just request it is some vaguely naval sea shanty or folk song. If you don't want such hefty responsibility , just name it "TBD" and I'll do when I get back.
Edit: Oh btw I also wish there was an island this map!!!
Edit Edit: PW is Sail

Wasn't going to report, but ya left notes and here is situation.
Bing I thought was going to settle "OR HERE" as he was roading that tile but actually logged on as I was writing report and settled "SHOULD" and withdrew quenchas. I had sent Bing crab for clam. Both as a peaceful offering but also you can settle city near the crab and I have the city near the clam. HaulAwayBowlline whip anger is up next turn. I don't expect trouble but there is an axe decaying in there in case you need. In general I'm not as worried about maximizing food and whip unhappy vs just working as many cottages as possible.
BTW scout was kicked east. It should go back to the hills west of James Craig.
Speaking of this turn I'm not working the plains wheat in the east to work instead 4 cottages. I realized that specific worker I forgot to give orders for..... rd the wheat for safety I guess. I had thought about cottaging the river 1E but ah well.
So I realized I didn't want to work that plains and I also realized that I wanted to get a city getting culture on some key tiles before Cornflakes city boomed 3rd ring borders...... Ya they did this turn....., but settler and workers were already over there, plus I get to work the wheat again /shrug. Make sure it doesn't steal the sheep btw as Lumpers Life will need.
I also wanted to do while Cornflakes was at war with SD and SaC. Looks like Cornflakes did raze a SD city and they peaced, but military should still be over there atm. SD was running a pathetic military, so honestly not unexpected.

Here's your new city:
The name is a crossover of your theme and mine from PB59, a Brasilian fishermen's song that has also some connection to capoeira. My understanding is that it's folklore, although apparently it has at least been collected and recorded by Dorival Caymmi.
It was difficult to find a good recording, and this is the best that I could come up with, although I'm not 100% happy with it. Here is another with legend Tom Jobim, in his living room as it seems.
I followed your orders. In city management I switched food tiles in unhappy cities to commerce pretty radically, I hope that I didn't overstep my limit there. I'm not quite sure if lighthouse/granary should really be prioritized over Ikhanda in new cities, given the circumstances.
Are you going to take t96 already? I'm available again next evening, 22h from now

If cities are unhappy commerce is fine. I still like granary, but it should be ikhanda over lighthouses.
Please take t96 if you can tomorrow. I'll be back Tuesday.

I fell to bottom of reporting, but nothing really has been happening.
I've been trying to get Pin to throw me a happy. We are supposed to be allies, but you know..... evidently that only goes as far as letting him settle cities in my face. I do have some hope he may actual give now as he launched a GA and should have some happy to spare, but only some small hope.
Here is some depressing economy math. I have 4 food resources I'm not working right now including two 6f tiles...... (I'm still tied for 1st in food) 10gpt is coming from GLH. 10gpt is coming from 8 Ikandas. Without either I would be negative and its only thanks to both I'm positive..........
Now I do have 4 newish cities still getting up and running and once they are that also will help a lot. You know a lot to me which is probably like another 10gpt probably lol.
I'm basically going full speed on a GP and hoping its a merchant and that it doesn't die........ I don't think either Pin or SD would kill though. I'll post in 6 turns with the good or the bad.
Questions? Comments? Thoughts on how to make a quick buck? BTW yes I've thought of going alphabet after this to build research and I may after IW if I get a scientist instead of a merchant.
