I should probably stop running binary now. My GNP is 235 and the rival best is 126. I know the StM is also running Binary, and therefore has a better GNP than that but I don't really want to draw attention to myself. Good thing there's no diplo this game.
Got rego's demogs, and while he's doing ok he isn't on the same level as StM or me.
I probably will be using Swiftboat in 2-3 turns. Can't wait for it.
I just finished reading your thread , awesome playing, you rock man, you bring glory to the incan people.
And the move's with Colosus and the galley just briliant.

Thanks for that.
Time to use Swiftboat (renamed to Serdoa's GG for fun). This is what I found scouting out with a trireme:
Pataliputra has the Moai statues, so that would be a prime target. Except that it has 2 archers inside so amphibiously attacking it with HA's is a losing battle since I only have 2 that can reach it this turn.
Varanasi only has a single warrior in it though, and it's the Jewish holy city too. One rather insignificant battle later:
Promptly burned to the ground since Hinduism is the one true faith. I also stole a worker from Serdoa this turn too.
Quote:I know it is breaking CTON, but: well played.
When you read this Shoot the Moon, I'm sorry about attacking you like that. It's easy to get traumatic and I don't mean to do that at all.
Anyway, after the surprise attack, Pataliputra has an extra archer inside. I would like to try and take another city but the amphibious penalty is a killer against equal tech and unloading means another whipped defender to defeat. I'll just have to wait for more advanced units before trying again. In the meantime I blockaded the coastal space between us and tried to scout out his land more.
Serdoa got Civil Service recently, I'll have to watch him. He'll inevitably start heading to Guilds soon and I can't let him get that.
