I'm also in agreement, the save is taking too long to come round, and Kuro has sent no response to anybody in three days this time

yeah ... lets find a new one to replace Kuro ...
me voting yes, and both Catwalk and slowcheetah saying yes (counting as 1), theres a majority for finding a new player, so go go
Ok I posted something in general discussion. Still feel kind of bad, but it'd be nice to have at least one of my games actually moving along.
Sorry Kuro, but I agree that we move on without you. I'd even be OK with Kuro staying on if he was able to find a teammate who could help make sure the save passed on reliably. Lacking that, I'm OK with a full replacement.
Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon
Dazedroyalty has replied, he says he has been reading the Vets threads but isn't spoiled above that. I'm personally ok with him joining if he wants. What do you guys think?
Commodore Wrote:21 does seem to be moving at a glacial but nonzero pace, emailing Kuro is still probably the best option. 21 is inexorable... but painfully so. If Kuro isn't replying here you might be better off replacing him while its still early. It's not as much of an option in 21. I only survive because I'm playing 4 other games.

Kuro has a history of taking 24+ hours per turn in every game he has participated in on RB. It does not take long for his "opps i forgot" excuses to wear very thin. You guys really should just remove him entirely from the game. It is absolutely infuriating to play a game with a one-man roadblock who doesn't even have the decency to provide advance warning or apologize for continually holding the turn.

It's your game guys, and if Dazed is acceptable to you, by all means go for it, with the knowledge that he is a lot less "green" than the rest of you, and his map knowledge might put him in a bit of a better position. Still, diplo is on, so even ringers can be sorted in the end.
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out.
no experience about him either for or against so i'm blanking out on him till some more experienced types tell their read on him ... only issue i might have, would be that he could be to strong given that its a 'Greener' game

For anyone lurking the PBEM29 vets game, is there a non-spoilerish way for us players here to gauge the amount of additional map/resource info Dazed will have when he enters this contest? I can only guess from the post count and from expected courtesy to the other players that the vets are well past turn 18 by now. I'm not opposed to being defeated by a better player, but it wouldn't be too sporting if he knows where all the guns are before we get into a knife fight, so to speak.
