I have updated the OP, please check if I have made any mistakes. If there are no further revisions, I suggest that we commence the snake pick 2h from this post, at GMT 20:00 or so. superjm, you're up first followed by waterbat and TheArchDuke. If you have any further questions about anything, don't hesitate to ask. Sian, is the map sufficiently finished that we can rely on our screenshots for starting picks?

I'll be ready then.
I hope I (and everyone else for that matter) gets at least a bit of lurker participation as this goes along.
Also, I have these times noted down as everybody's favourite playing times (local time) and time zones. Please correct them if any are wrong.
Catwalk +2; 9-23 (no real favourite during that time span) TheArchDuke +2; 6-9 and 19-22 (preferring the morning slot) Xenon +2; 6-9 and 19-22 (preferring evening slot? Also, you list 15-19 as your time slow above, how high priority is that one for you?) waterbat -4; 11-23 (any preference during that time?) superjm -4; 14-24 (ditto) Azza -10; 19-22 (any other time slots? Correct that you prefer the evening slot?) With that info sorted out, I think we can align the turn order so we can maintain a really good pace. Quote:(preferring evening slot? Also, you list 15-19 as your time slow above, how high priority is that one for you?) Yes, I'd prefer the evening slot. The 15-19 doesn't have a high priority; 18-22 or 19-22 are a much better fit.
screenshots are to be picked from ... only bone of debate left in the Mapthread is minor issues not viewable by starting spots
as for the new OP ... map size is just shy of a off the press standard size ... its 60x40 whereas a standard map is 64x40 did you guys reach an argeement about difficulity ... Noble or Prince?
The time slots line up really well, so if people are fairly reliable within their preferred time slots I think we have good chances of getting 1t/day. I suggest the following roster:
4-7 TheArchDuke 6:00-9:00 5-9 Azza 19:00-23:00 9-14 Catwalk 11:00-16:00 15-19 Xenon 17:00-22:00 20-24 waterbat 16:00-20:00 24-4 superjm 20:00-24:00
Just out of curiosity as a wandering lurker, what does
Quote:NAP for up to 20 turns (binding) mean? Do players who break NAPs get kicked from this game or something?
We do need to clarify that, yeah. The binding part was bolded to emphasize that it needed further discussion. I guess it means the same it does in any other game, you get a reputation for being a NAP breaker if you break a NAP. I strongly encourage keeping NAPs though, and I would be open to discussing actual enforcement of NAPs (reloading if needed). What do people think?
The NAP limitation was meant to avoid having players screwing themselves over by entering a long-term NAP that ends up not being in their favour. Rather than encouraging players to break NAPs, I'd rather impose a limit to NAP length. Rolling 20t NAPs can be signed, though. Meaning 20t cooldown can be activated at any time.
So it's "gg hf, nr 20 kk?" in Starcraft terms.
