Here's the turn where my crazy, probably weedy, micro starts so we can make the warrior EOT 24 with enough overflow as to enable enough overflow to complete the WB after whipping the settler. Got that?
Now onto recon news. Molach also has a grassland cow for his corn-gold site. It appears we shall carry on the proud RB tradition of blaming the mapmaker for our future, self-inflicted demise. Our scout is in position to look into Molach's cap, or he can move back towards the disputed territories. Molach hasn't grown to size 2 yet, so he probably doesn't have a warrior completed that can whack our scout, but with the forests, it doesn't look like we can get much sight into his cap's BFC.
News I negligently failed to update last turn, Azza's score increased by 6 beginning of T21. I don't think it was a tech, probably just the land score increasing since he settled on T1. He's due for a tech soon, but I bet he is going for wheel.

Vodka help us.
Yeah, I'm not happy about my past behaviour either.

We were last to play, so here's T23 and T24. Molach's score jumped quite a bit, first for land points, then for a tech on T24. He discovered his last tech on T8 (probably agriculture), spent 16 turns, so that's BW. Azza also grew to size 3. There's a cool picture of us sitting at 192/193 on BW and of Breakfast 'Tail as the #5 City. Viva.
Next turn, BW comes in, the warrior completes, and we are tentatively scheduled to start the settler. Discovery and location of copper may lead to changes. We will also get demos on Molach next turn. T25 overview post proposed in the tech thread will fit our timeline perfectly as to when we will have sufficient information to form more concrete plans.

From Molach's post in the tech thread:
Quote:And yes, I'll do a turn-25 shot. Something like
* City development and future city placement and planning.
* Surrounding areas, and evaluation on how much I think my area sucked compared to an average starting position
* Foreign advisor report.
* Short-medium-Long-term plans
Molach's land must contain copious amounts of based on what we've uncovered around his capital to suggest that.

I think that's just him being clever :P
Can't wait to decide what to do. If we have copper nearby in already good spot I think we can go for a settler, if not - workboats/workers then settler.

Well, we found copper, is it here?
Of course not. It's here.
We're tops in power.

Apologies for the lack of the T25 Overview, that will have to wait until I get home, which is going to be awhile. Do you want to pick up the turn, Kurumi? I neglected to revolt last turn, we should do that. Other than that, there's only the scout and the warrior to move about.

Oh right, I can do that!
We have a warrior next to our borders. Azza.
I moved our warrior into a bordering forest.
Good thing next turn we have slavery.

Good call on getting that warrior quicker. I guess Azza is prodding the unknowns, hopefully he decides it's not worth it. I hope forgetting to revolt on T25 doesn't screw us.

Belated Strategy Post
The Lurkers are in for a treat; you get our T25+2 strategy post, which is at least 2 units better than a T25 post. Recent developments probably would have outdated a T25 post.
Kurumi and I chatted a bit over the weekend and debated our tech path. We started out on fishing and planned to settle 3E of our capital, which would share one netted clams. We would likely then expand east into relatively safer areas and more open area. City #3 would likely be on the lake next to the corn.
We really couldn't settle south on the spot that could eventually pick up the wet wheat and plans cows because we can't defend that spot against even half-hearted harassment. Azza's recent warrior highlights how much of a problem settling that way would be.
Our settler is scheduled to complete EOT 32 and settle our second city on T34, the same turn as the clams are netted. Our tech path would probably go something like Fishing-AH-Wheel, but all bets are off if Azza wants to start something. This would take us out to T50 and our next Big Update.
Here's our cap, you'll see the potential issue:
Azza is spending his EPs on us and is in a position to pillage the corn. I took the wrong picture on the EP screen, but I also saw he's 4 points less on Molach. He is spending enough to deny us demos, I allocated all of our EP onto him, we are at 40 points on him and need 42 for graphs. His warrior is precariously positioned to deny our corn. I'm not sure if it makes sense to take a 50-50 shot at him, but I've simmed out some results:
I logged in only to take pics and because I didn't want to double move him, not that there is much that moving our warrior would or could do. Hopefully, he turns around and walks away. I hope that, after Azza has been rushed in nearly every PB he's played in, he doesn't pick this time to exact his revenge.
