The sense i got from the setup process was that this was going to be a pbem to test the viability of the script without the need of a mapmaker to look it over. IMO you don't have to do any apologizing

Yeah Krill pretty much has the least right to complain about the new map considering he was the most active torpedoer of the first map and the warnings Ceil gave out after that.

The first map *was* hand balanced, against the wishes of the players. I used a light hand, but on player started with pl-hill stone, another with riverside grassland gold. (!)
BRick, I'm glad you took over, this was inevitable. If this PBEM is an experiment in how balanced the map script is, it won't take long to get an answer.

Yeah, I don't think either of you should apologize.
And ... it looks like Krill agrees with my previous post! Just different target. That's my green-ness.

Is Krill's position really unwinnable? It seems poor given how squeezed he is, but not impossible...

It's a hike, but if he is able to hit copper-less, awkward-horse-placement Seven, that would make this interesting.

Well, if he gets Seven before archers and before a resource is hooked up he could do some damage. But Seven will have a lot of warning. So not likely. More likely is that he takes Seven out of the running along with himself.

Well he has no intention of attacking Seven and he appears to have called off the attack on Serdoa. So I'm going to say that he expands out to 4-5 cities and attacks someone with HBR.

Not sure why Krill thinks Seven hates early religion. He's gone for it in a majority of his games.

Well, I'll keep with the Oracle plan, since I'm industrious and all. I know it wasn't Thoth who discovered Buddhism, since I have his culture graphs and there's no jump (or the graphs are delayed?). I think it was Kyan.

3rd city due on t37. First Chariot due eot 37. Oracle due at end of t37. Pottery due end of turn 37.
Poor Ichabod...
Is anyone expecting Thoth to go Oracle? Or because he's De Gaulle, everyone is expecting him to go for Stonehenge?
