It's hard having to defend against a case I don't see, Bigger. A case made behind the curtains, we could say.

Ichabod, you've been clearly (and very funnily) trolling the whole game. You've made lynch attacks on me, Mattimeo, GausMarius, Flug_Auto, Meiz, Pindicator, Zak, Gaspar and Bigger at least - and been stirring up Brick where possible too. Your chatter isn't really helping guide the village to any useful conclusions. Speaking personally, I'm finding your posts hilarious and deeply distracting at the same time, which I think is your point.

You might not be a wolf, but I'm thinking you might have a role that doesn't win with the town. If you do get lynched and turn up village, you will have cost us a day and brought it on yourself with your playstyle. It seems to me the question is - what is the case for NOT bumping you off?

If it could be done outside the normal lynch.

I worked at building a case on Ichabod last night, but the more I looked the less I was convinced. He's way too trolling to be helpful for town, but there doesn't seem to be anything definite that pinpoints him as scum. I've gotten rather flummuxed trying to figure out who exactly is scum though, i think i drank too much tonight.

Right now I'm satisfied with pushing Rowain to explain himself better

Have we lost all our active protective abilities? Novice was the clear target last night, why was there no protection for him? Only 1 night kill is very interesting though.


I still Bigger is our likely serial killer, but I really did not like Mattimeo's response (post #1146) to pindicator. Add that to narrowly avoiding being lynched yesterday, and I'd really like to hear a proper defense from him rather than ignoring the entire case against him and revenge voting.

wtf am I reading. he is playing the anti-town game of anti-town games. He's not anti-town for bad reads. everybody has a bad game and makes bad reads from time to time (I did once, in ww14). He is trolling the town, deliberately and openly! He is INTENTIONALLY playing anti-town, and not even hiding from that. not lynching him for doing so is criminal.

Ok, I'm going to role-claim here.

I am Guybrush Threepwood, Mighty Pirate and INSULT DUELIST.

Once in the game I can trigger a duel with another player. As well as fun roleplaying an insult match, it means we get a 2nd Lynch Vote that day - but one that is only between me and my target. Neither of us can then be in the main lynch for the day.

So basically it gives us 2 chances to lynch today.

Obviously the drawback is that I could end up dueling another villager, but still better that than wasting a day's lynch on a villager. But I don't want to take that plunge entirely on my own - so I would like feedback from the village about who would make a good target.

My preference is Ichabod - first of all, as Bigger and I are saying, I don't think he's being very helpful in finding us wolves. I understand not wanting to waste a lynch when other wolves are almost certainly lying low, but this way we could still try to sniff out someone. I also think that knowing Ichabod's alignment for certain would help us on targets like Pindicator.

I don't want to have a third day ending with Ichabod on the block and everyone dancing around madly and arguing while he cackles. It sucks up oxygen that we could use in hunting others.

Also, come on, Morte is the greatest insulter in Role Playing Games, Guybrush the King of Adventure games. It would be awesome.

However, I'm open to other ideas. And if everybody would rather lynch me than Ichabod, then I'd rather not start a duel only to get myself killed by the skull, so perhaps people could warn me in advance if they think I'm definitely scummier than Ichabod (to which I would reply , but each to their own!).

PS: Drawback is that I have to pick my target before the first 24 hours are up, so I'll have to pick about 16 hours from now at the latest. I think having exposed my credentials, I need to use them today or risk 'falling overboard' tonight.
