Werewolf 3 Game Thread

We have a bit more than 30 hours left.

While I still would prefer to lynch people who think rules are just guidelines and are in general a source of chaos(*points at MJW) I also agree that having some alternates is a good thing.
So for now: Lewwyn

I hate to admit this, but Sandovers post regarding MJW and fire&ice has a point, and I have the same strange gut feeling regarding those two. I also agree with Ichabod, that killing MJW like this would be a wasted day. We learn nothing if the majority goes for MJW and he is revealed to be a villager. For me that leaves Lewwyn, for now.

I know many of you vote novice for mayor, based on WW1, but in my opinion Irgy has made a lot of sense with his posts so far.

Blah, I wanted to post earlier but I was at my office hours and students showed up.

Anyway, at this point you guys seem to be saying that you simply don't want to lynch MJW. You also all seem to think MJW is an innocent. Fine, I don't see how he's been revealed innocent, but I'm willing to set him aside even though putting down the tornado of destruction was clearly my goal. My problem is that any action I take at this point will be suspicious. I also have no one else that I am suspicious of.

So no vote.

Seeing as I think Rowain is a logical beast, I'll cast my mayor vote.

I am not sure it's that people don't want to lynch him, its that they seem to want it to be a close thing rather than a run away

regarding MJW:

I don't like the two prevailing arguments regarding him, which are "just ignore him and let him do whatever he wants" and "just lynch him now since he's a bad villager". If MJW is a villager, then he should improve his game and not behave suspiciously for no reason like he did in WW#2 to avoid being mistakenly lynched at some stage.

regarding the Lewwyn bandwagon:

Curious that we have 4 CONSECUTIVE posts voting for him just for the sake of starting a new bandwagon without offering any new evidence isn't it?

I can't speak for others, but for me the timing is just coincidence. I'm at work at the moment, so I had time to post my thoughts on lunch break.

As I mentioned, I don't feel confident on fire & ice vote, and I suspect that MJW is a villager. There is no hard evidence against anyone, so it's not like I could point a finger at anyone and be sure of their guilt. For me, Lewwyn is the best bet at the moment, but who knows what happens in the following hours...

Rowain - your vote count was missing my switch to fire&ice. It's probably better not to edit it in though, since edits are banned. At first I thought editing vote counts for accuracy might be argued as a good case for an exception. But on the flip side, if there's one sort of post where editing opens up the potential for dirty tricks it's the vote counts.

The sudden run on Lewwyn does seem suspicious. Which doesn't mean everyone in it is up to something, but it does mean it's possible someone in it is up to something. Or it could just be villagers bandwagoning as they are kind of supposed to do. In actual fact I think Lewwyn is acting differently to WW2 so I'm a little suspicious of him. But I can't really put my finger on it, and I don't want to end up associated with whoever is up to mischeif in that run of 4, so it's not worth a vote for now.

Well thats true. I feel bereft of the safety blanket that is being a mason. In WW2 I never feared for my life during the day. Seriously it is way more difficult being a lone villager than a mason.

Just want to point out something as well. It is widely accepted that MJW is a disruptive force among the villagers. As such is my goal to root him out and either prove him innocent or get him lynched. (Perferably lynched). I wrote the first post and stayed on him until the swing forced me off. To me it seemed the only way to prove I was a villager, but maybe thats the opposite? Maybe I should just keep my vote on MJW.

Look at it this way. If MJW is disruptive to the villagers why would a wolf want to remove that distraction? Left to his own devices, kept alive he causes mayhem. If anything, my vote against MJW proves I'm not a wolf because I'm looking out the villages best interest. That said I won't put my vote on MJW (as much as I'd like to) if I'm going to be persecuted for it because he is perceived as a villager.

Cull has almost a full day now to post something and so far has only posted that he will post something. While I understand that he is not the most vocal player. I still would like to hear from him, especially under a little pressure.
