T139 - Cause for concern

He's really going for it. I'm taking the aforementioned detour to Artillery next. Mil Trad too.
Every sign points towards his forces marching against Dreylin, but as with the last war, I need to keep up to not even give him a chance to turn them against me.
I did manage to 2T Electricity smile

T143 - Shots fired

Finished Artillery. I will now 1T some of the older techs and upgrade part of my stack. The whole thing would take over 5k gold.

Greenline has Destroyers too frown And more importantly Transports as well. I have to watch out for tricky plays.

Pickle declared on Dreylin. He's holding back his 2-movers.

Let's see if Greenline declares too. I would assume he will.

Declare on all 3? hammer

T144 - Speak of the devil

Someone's up to no good! I think I've got him covered. Next turn I'll reinforce even more just to be on the safe side.

Dreylin killed one Pickle stack and he can kill the other one too. I could declare on Pickle and we'd crush him together, but I don't trust Greenline not to attack me in that scenario. I think I need to do it the other way around, wait until Greenline joins the war, then attack Greenline.

Also kinda want to get Bombers out for the war. Not that I've ever used them, but tech advantage is always good right?

Simple airships were obscene in 33. Fighters moreso, although I used them less and the range was a little bit of an issue (plus I kept a few on intercept) Bombers that cannot be intercepted by fighters causing huge damage and collateral...

T145 - Wild Card

Broadway complete! Next is Custom's House, then National Epic. I was waiting for a unit XP national wonder, but I think at this point in the game, it's better to just get the 4th GA faster.

I'm behind in hammers due no to factories. It's the next tech up though.

Pickle's drop in power after losing one stack. I don't know why he has them split, and why some are sitting inside his borders while others are out attacking.

And here's the juiciest event of the turn. My patience is about to pay off hammer
Gonna be much easier to crush his stack on the open and inside my own borders!

T146 - Anticipation

Greenline main stack. He has a bunch of CATAPULTS hanging back. Well, I have artillery, so go ahead and try me.

Greenline secondary stack. These were going for the main stack last turn, but turned around.
12 infantries will probably ride 3 transports and ambush my island. He has 3 destroyers hiding behind his city.

I turned down research to 0%. For every turn that he waits, I will upgrade more of my stack to modern units.

Dreylin destroyed Pickle's second stack. His third is running away. Fourth and fifth are still idle inside his borders.

T147 - Don't call it a comeback!

Dreylin hunted down Pickle's retreating stack, but this allowed Pickle to ninja-raze one of Dreylin's cities.

Greenline still didn't attack me. I guess what actually happened was that he saw my stack with an airship and shat his pants.
Problem with this play is that he's really forcing me to attack him. There's no way I'd roll out against Pickle when Greenline has all his units on my border.
Of course I already chose to attack Greenline if he did go to war against Dreylin, but he doesn't know this, so from his point of view it's a play that seals his fate.

I upgraded another 9 cannons to artillery. Taking it slow. I've played a methodical game so far, might as well keep going. I know lurkers want blood tho :P
Next GA in 5 turns. I should switch to military civics at the end of that and get the air force techs before then.

Greenline has tanks, I have Anti-Tanks neenerneener

It's taking every fiber of my soul to resist the temptation of starting the war right now.

T152 - Wings

Got Flight. Gives us a few turns to build Airports before Radio kicks in and we can start building Bombers.

Here's the massive power build-up. We're still on top though tanks are pretty scary.

Still #1 in most demos. I was supposed to get factories up before I get my air force up, but I had to react to Greenline's build-up.

Picklepikkl is in a good spot. Greenline forcing a war against me means that one of us is going to get fucked. Pickle has secured a spot to the next round.

Need to roll an Artist, an Engineer, or a Spy this time. 87% chance to get the right one.
Ended turn, and we got a Great Spy. Next turn I can launch the 4th Golden Age.
