Civ 6 PBEM 2 Organizing Thread

Perhaps I went too far in suggesting a tiny map. I just am anxious to avoid a situation where it becomes a farm fest all game. at any rate, I have left the settings page at small/high sea level for now, and trust Sullla will roll us something that doesn't look too crowded nor too sparse.

By the way, I have sent a pm to Sullla regarding my civ choice.  I think I have no problem with others to know my selection. We don't need to be so secretive about it, do we?

Maybe the real question is whether Rome or Greece (Gorgo) is being featured

Well, I was going to post your civ picks this morning since I received the last one overnight, only to find that all of you had already shared the same info. Here's a quick summary in one post:

Oledavy: Greece (Gorgo)
Woden: China
Singaboy: Germany
Alhambram: Russia
TheArchduke: Greece (Pericles)

The one remaining thing that I need to start rolling maps is the player order, as it appears that this can't be changed after the initial game setup. I saw the above order posted on the previous page of this thread; is it correct for me to assume that you want to go oledavy -> Woden -> Singaboy -> Alhambram -> TheArchduke -> oledavy? Please let me know if you would like a different order.

Map settings I will definitely be using:

Game Speed: Standard
Diplomacy: CTON/AI Diplo Only
Difficulty Prince
Map Type: Pangaea
Map Size: Small
Huts: Off
Barbs: On
World Age: New
Balanced Start Option
10 City-States

I'm going to experiment with the sea level and see what looks like the best result from a land amount standpoint when rolling maps. Roughly speaking, I will try to aim for enough land for about a half dozen cities per player, which is slightly larger than the PBEM1 map. Otherwise, it's likely going to be a lot of rerolling and trying to find something that feels balanced. Let me know if you have any other thoughts/suggestions.

To me that looks fine. 5 -6 cities for each of us would be good too

Thanks Sullla for helping set this up. For me, turn order and settings look good. 5 to 6 cities seems about right.
