Yeah that's what I thought, no problem. After gold city I'll have 2 cities on the coast and the I have plans for 3 more including the island.
Speaking of. After Pottery I should get AH and then Sailing so I can get that island city up for the Trade route boosting. Maybe Sailing is better than AH earlier. I still only have two animals really. The sheep for the one silver city and the cow that the two SD border cities will share. I think I will settle the corn/silver city before the sheep silver city. Not knowing where horses are isn't too bad. I don't plan on charioting anyone yet.

I decided not to whip the worker so that I stay at 2 in Lucio. The worker finishes in 2 turn with the copper mine so its only 1 turn difference between slow build and whip. I'll still whip settler 2>1 after the worker, but I might build another warrior for cheap MP before the copper gets hooked. I want an axe on my border but I also want more cheap warriors first. I have 4 warriors now and I will build 3 more before I hook copper I think. I will be able to grow Lucio to 3 as well with the warrior build so that the settler whip can be 3>2 instead of 2>1. Settle the 4th city next turn. I'll be first to 4. But that city won't have TRs for a few turns while I get the worker finished in Lucio. Right now every city is working improved tiles so I'm not doing bad with the one worker, I just had to sacrifice a bit to get the settlers out.

Turn 42 and Rusten's warrior is headed to the West into the fog. I'll watch out for him at Orisa.
Overview:
I have my second worker here EOT42. That's pretty late and I'm going to feel that pain with the 4th city here. But hey, I'm first to the 4th city. I'm going to send this worker to help hook up the city and get the corn farmed there. I can get a warrior out of the city in 2t, then grow on a granary to 3 and chop a 4t settler out with the worker. I think I need more workers at that point though So I'm going to have to build a couple more.
I'm worried about my dotmap:
I'm not 100% on it. Anybody think I should change the city placements? There will be another city on the coast above lavender as well. Yeah what am I doing...
Lavender should be 1N and white should be 1SW. That orphans one desert hill and one grass forest in the middle there, but I could actually put a filler city on the desert hill later on. What do you guys think?
Also:
Ah... It's a dead end! ::shakesfist::
Annoying...

I've been doing a bit of thinking and trying to decide based on the state of the game what will happen. I think the gold between Bob and Rusten is going to be a flash point and they will be engaged. I think Serdoa is pissed at Gaspar and they will be engaged. I think SD will settle towards Gaspar since he met him first and scouted him better. He might get aggressive when I plant on his gold though. But I'm not sure that he will.
I'm at 4 cities and 2 workers. I will have 7 warriors. I think I need to settle the marble banana city in the south to block Rusten. If I fortify that city well then he will leave me alone. He only has the 1 avenue of attack, and Bob is a better target.
My goal is to expand to 12 cities peacefully asap. Possibly get GLH if no one else is going after it. Then I think I have to go after Bob. Especially if I can expand quickly enough to take the lion share of Bob's north and my west. Manifest destiny bitches!
I need archery. And I think I might start the warrior build in Lucio BUT not finish it, start a granary and the finish a spear instead. I think I only have 6 cities that I feel comfortable with leaving only a warrior in them for MP. So I only need 6. I will settle the Gold and the Rusten blocker with settlers out of lucio. I need an axe and spear pair to settle the marble banana site. Next capital settler will head west probably to the lavender site. I will use settler out of reinhardt for the other SD border city at the gold north of Rein.
Pottery>AH>Sailing maybe sailing earlier for easier TR connection with lavender plant.

Some other thoughts:
I love my pick. IMP/Pro is rocking on this map. I'm am VERY happy now that Serdoa took Wang Kon and forced me into Charlemagne. Also Spain is great. The fishing/myst opening was perfect for my start. I've been able to stay ahead of tech and never felt worker tech blocked. I think I'm also teching faster than anyone else in the game due to the fish at the start and Pro.
Religion first was a winner. It popped my capital's borders so much faster so I was able to settle both cities without needing sailing to connect them. Also the copper was NOT in my first 2 rings at cap or in the first rings of my first two cities. I didn't need to build a monument or settle a different city site requiring more roads for TRs. Thi sis teh same for the 2 wheats.
Specifically IMP on this map is so good because there is enough space. I'm leveraging it obviously. Rusten and NoGas are the other 2 with IMP, Rusten did great with first to 3rd city, but NoGas is STILL ONLY AT 2 CITIES! This is noble's fault. He likes a good solid base before he expands. He's too slow and cautious and they are behind here (I bet they are building Stonehenge). Sure they could be leveraging IND here and planning a settler burst, but I'll take the earlier settlers every time.
Am I thinking about this game a lot? Yes. I look forward to every turn and I'm very focused on this. Everybody better watch out. I'm expanding faster and teching faster.

Good question though depending on how fast everyone else expands...
Bob, I think its going to be a joint effort between Rusten and me. And I think I galley across our little shared ocean and surprise him, take his capital. But he is weak. No IMP only has 2 cities atm and is slow, is not as good at micro and will have immediate problems and tense borders with rusten over that gold. Hell, with the speed Rusten is settling I expect Rusten to try and settle both gold and if he does Bob will get pissy and attack him making him weaker to his north where I can take advantage. As far as I can see this map has favored me greatly.

Wouldn't have been a worker before your 4th city better? It seems you are not improving the corn rightnow.

Due to rustens warrior I moved the settler east instead of to the gold. Other wise the worker would have been finished and have finished reading the gold before the city settled. Basically this settler was already finished with that intention in mind. So yes it would have been better and I had a plan for that, but rustens warrior got in the way. Shifted to plan B which is slight less optimal.
