thanks. I will then assume that Lewwyn has not put all our strategic resources into that little corner and consider it safe, provided we don't see it next turn.

Move SW next, or keep the scout at home? Or scout the NE copper?
I'd keep the warrior camping the likely 2nd city spot, which I still think is N of the wheat.
But we need to think of a copper spot, and if we can actually delay it to 3rd.
NE of the lake would work as 3rd, with N of wheat as 2nd, although I have not checked the wider ramificatins on th dotmap.
Or just E of the fish? At least shares the wheat nicely enough.
Have to think some more about it, but also interested in your input of course.
I had forgotten to check the event log, but around t13 (3480BC) somebody founded Buddhism, while Hinduism remains unclaimed.

Copper 3rd looks good. I'd send the scout over there both to fogbust for barb spawn and also to look at the fog before settling.
Also need to sim for having a wb in place when we settle. Fish in 1st ring should easily beat a PH.

just to confirm, we are both on the same page with red dot?
Settler due to be whipped in 2 turns.
This is Elkad's copper btw
Would be lovely as Inca. But he is Cre, so can also afford something more towards the east or west.

I was thinking red dot, yes. I don't like Elkad having his copper on river, means he can get axes without the wheel. Slight mapmaking mistakes IMO.

Well a simple approach would be to start on it instead of the 2nd warrior, then finish the settler t43, granary t44, then the wb the turn after. It would leave the fish unworked for a turn. Much better if we could find one more hammer somewhere, then the new city could take the wheat and the WB would finish on the fish.
The question though is, is it wise to found the 3rd city with just 2 warriors on hand? (and with Elkad's axes looming, as you said. I had of course missed this but it seems pretty dangerous for us.)

Yeah, maybe we should reconsider. How long do I/we have to sort out micro for copper 2nd? Would like to have a look at it at least to see how much it sets us back.

Just played turn 28, turn 31 we have to move the settler. It's not really a lot faster than one per day, but I'm not sure if I'll find the time to work on it.
Well, and next turn the worker makes the first move towards preparing the trade route. I think if we need to get out two work boats in a row we'd very likely want to chop first.

Worth pointing out as well maybe that Elkad should not know yet where we are. And an axe from his cap would have to march 13 turns straight to reach ours. So he would need to settle the city, improve copper before food, then whip the axe asap. Seems doubtful.
With the old plan we found the copperfish turn 45, and can start on the mine with both workers right away, with the road already in place. Elkad has not revolted yet*, so I'd expect him to settle 2nd a bit after us (also he's generally not one to expand very fast). I think we should be fine, what's your take?
*actually I have not checked if he revolted before we made contact. Will do.
