Quick reply from Terror Wrote:Hi Jkaen,
No worries at all. I'll see what the situation is next turn, and see if I can find one or both of you so you can hook up.
Anything I can do, let me know!
All the best,
Terror

I will try and post a picture for the lurkers now we have seen 3 sets of borders, but looks like things are pretty cramped up north. Starting to like the defense-ability of our land more and more right now.
Thinking Piet must be to the SE of that main junction area. Getting the idea there may be a good amount of land off the mainland too, so will want to get working on a scouting boat soon

And one last post on this spam trail for now (got to catch Piet up somehow)
Looks like I will be on site Tue - Thu. You available to pick up any turns while I am away again SL?

Diplo from Piet Wrote:Hi Jkaen,
noticed we finally met each other. My forward sentry spotted your scouts heading towards our territory.
Hope all is going well in Zululand.
Unfortunately I have not much time right now, but I suppose we should talk a little bit about our countries status and our ambitions.
We can do this via Mail or you add me on Skype (Skype name is Peter.Hannappel), so we can use the chat there.
Greetings,
Piet, Patrician of the Ankh Morpork Republic ("one whip, one vote"), holder of the whip.

Having a little bit more time right now, so I thought I would drop a letter to you. Apologizes for not beeing a native speaker, so if there is something looking funny or strange its probably because of this ;-).
Hope all is going well for Zululand this game. Your Civilizations wheresabout was unknown to me a long time even I knew of all of the others, so you seem to be a bit isolated - or simply far away. But you seem to do quite well - like all of us. It is really a close game atm, which is very nice.
As I know, only the Malinese people had early contact with you so it is safe to assume that youre people dwell in the far south ?
We did make quite early contact with Darius, which is my norther neighbour (as you probably already know) and it took us a while to meet Ioan and TT. As far as I know you met all three already, so no need to provide direction to them or their lands I think.
As you will see, I allocated my EPs on you to get graph visibitily, which I have already with the other nations. Feel free to do the same.
I also would like to find out if there will be cooperation or fighting in our future (A rather complex question which is difficult to anwer right now as we both know :-)). I for my part would be ok to have a NAP for the next few dozens of turns though, since expasion is key atm and we both seem to have more than enough space.
As I already wrote, feel free to add me on Skype or return a mail.
Best regards,
Piet of Ankh Morpork

Reply to Piet Wrote:Piet,
Nice to hear from you again, your English looks pretty good to me.
As you guessed I am off to the south of TT, so well away from your civ. There is no real way we could easily move troops around to threaten each other in any way, hence I am not too concerned about a NAP, but have no problem with providing one if you would feel more comfortable.
Been fairly busy right now, hence why this isn't in RP form like all my early diplo was, but if you feel like a chat at some point let me know, my gmail account is jkaen.online@gmail.com, or just fire me emails

Reply from TT asking for more than he is giving again Wrote:H.P,
Whilst that map may be sufficient for you, I am afraid it is insufficient to me to agree to a land split. I do not know whether the line is equidistant from both our capitals, or whether you are trying to pull a landgrab upon me. I also am left concerned that your censorship of the map means you may be hiding some key resources that you want to keep on your 'side' of the split.
I humbly request that you submit a proper map on both sides of the divide so that I can be fully sure that it is equitable. I have a settler due next turn, Stonehenge alongside copper well hooked up, so I can claim more land should I wish to. I want us to work together as friends, but will not be cowed by misdirection. I hope you will be able to reciprocate this willingness to work together by acquiescing to this request.

I think we know who first target is going to be Wrote:TT,
Think I will have to ditch the RP at this point, both for time (work is crazy right now) and for clarity.
The line is pretty equidistant from our capitals (the mountains are half way between, so the line could go at the south of them rather than the north) but I am afraid you will just have to take my word for that for now.
I think right now due to the level of scouting I have done a map trade would be uneven as I already have the majority of your territory mapped. However that is not even what you are asking for, you want my map and I don't receive yours.
Hence I trust you can understand my reluctance to provide this information, and as such I am happy with us not having a settling agreement for now.

Being polite Wrote:Terror,
Piet and I managed to bump into each other, and have exchanged pleasantries. Thanks for pointing us both in the right direction, I appreciate it.
