Commodore - 7 cities.
Pindicator - 6 cities.

Cities are good. So's the wide-open stretch of jungle land, not being contested  .
Canterbury should build a granary before lighthouse. Crab + 2 bare coast tiles + granary is still better than the same tiles with a lighthouse.
Next cities are? The two NE and NW of York? Seems like after that may be a good time for the furs city, with this many cities the happiness is big.
And I hope it's not long until culture, this is starting to hurt.

Hmm. I can see a reasonable case for a lot of them. Maybe it's time to start judging based on neighbors? Any of the sites likely to be lost if you don't move quickly? The one that would make me cry to lose is the copper/ivory by Commodore - but then the jungle and the war might make him be slow to steal it.

Sounds reasonable. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it works. Course, even if Confucianism is ours, you'll still have some backfill to do on religious techs to be able to actually use it.
