I mean... it COULD work, but its gonna be a slow slog... and with Bellarch about to tech towards cannons.. Vanrober bro, just eat easy land and tech.

He tried that with Bing. Bellarch has the movement advantage in his allies' lands too not just his own.

Right. But slogging thru Bellarch territory? Id keep a token force of cav/ect to keep Bellarch from committing to an attack nor running the majority of his forces EVERYWHERE, and eat cities off of Joshy on the farthest side.

Well I'm used to the way the German forum makes war. I'd have first considered invading bellarch with 100 Rifles/Cannons.

Which looks like what he is going to try to do now, but knowing how many cannons to use on bombarding vs collateral, vs just running Cavs into longbows... I dont know how it will go for Vanrober. Should be interesting to watch.

Rifles are better than cavs for that kind of thing. They are cheaper and get a bonus vs knights. It's too late for that kind of thing now with bellarch able to reach cannons.

If you have 100 cavs and 100 rifles. Which is going to blitz thru a tech backwards civ like Joshy? Cavs.

Yeah, I was specifically talking about a push into bellarch's territory.

kinda looks like Bellarch can just wipe another stack of Cav's for free..

Wait, what? Vanrober only got circumnavigation last turn, and will finish Sankore next turn? He's late on both of those...
