Agreed, HIM is very hopeful that Whosit does not hold a grudge over
what was a rash, but entirely understandable, reaction to his poor
diplomacy. HIM hopes to become the 'policeman' of this game and is
planning to maintain a 'two-power standard'.

May we discuss future expansion? HIM trusts that the agreement that
we would not settle beyond the eastern edge of the lake tiles applies
in reverse, and that you have no plans to settle beyond the western
edge of said lake tiles, i.e. within our sovereign territory. Our
next site is to the north-west of our capital, trying to bridge the
gap to our southern lake site. Ironically on the site of a Barbarian
camp that we razed recently. With hindsight, HIM thinks we razed, and
kept, the wrong cities but when has he ever done anything sensible and
not in the heat of the moment? The order to raze was given before our
surveyors could explain that the site was rather strategically
defensible.

Well, what's done is done. Let's see what the future holds.

his power is rising ... what is he planning? To attack me? Take the lake city back? Yet we have a turn 100 NAP in place after the cease-fire ... is he going to break it? Possibly ... this may be a way of buying him off, allowing me to shed the money-pit ... yes, I could've developed it, built a Terrace, worked the Clams, but it would still have cost more to keep that it makes. Plus it would continue to give Whosit a valid excuse to attack [reason for his Power surges], therefore off-loading it removes that "Elephant in the Room" and will just show him as vindictive if he does, eventually, declare war on me, and can be used accordingly on the diplomatic front, especially if he attacks my core :neenernee

next city is "BackInBlack" where I already have a Shock-promo'd Tupac and a Medic-promo'd Wyclef on guard, a Garrison-promo'd LilWayne will follow, and a couple of Shabbas [1 Shock=promo'd] on their way ... also going to have a couple of Shaggies road from the Gold & Gems.

Next up will be "EyesLikeYours" .. two possible sites, with different benefits;

on top of the Sheep[EyesLikeYours?1]:
pro 1: highly defensible, it's on a Hill
pro 2: means I can take both Gold & Gems from WakaWakaShaka, allowing both of the Sugar, and the Spices, tiles to be worked
con: it's on the Sheep ... is that really a problem?

Hang on [been looking stuff up on the Civ Fanatics Civilopedia] we'd get:

Buddist Monastery [with Meditation] +2 Culture & +10% tech
Buddist Temple [with Priesthood] +1 Culture & +1 Happiness

We are happy to see that HIM honored his deal with the Crazy empire. Though we didn't expect anything else after our honest and truthfull negotiations.

Regarding future expanding, rest assured that we'll only plant one city towards your esteemed civilization in the spot we discussed in our NAP.
There might be a slight border breach with our second ring, but nothing to worry about.
We hereby promise that our next 6 cities after the founding of Davids (we hope HIM will be pleased with the name of our bordercity) will be located to our west and north.

We are experiencing the same issue with a barb city as HIM. We haven't had the opportunity to capture it, but we might keep it after your advice.

Regarding the future, do you have plans for after your expansion fase?

Could you be more specific as to where "Davids" will be founded? Will it have a land-border with CazadorDeAmor? If so, HIM is eager to road to it so He may visit to pay homage to a fine player, possibly bringing Number-One-Wife with Him. Maybe we can start trading any surplus goods soon.

OK ... DropShortALitre [formerly known, to us anyway, as UnpocoLocoDAmor] has been dumped back onto Whovus ... dammit, the borders popped, but no matter, the Work-Boat got where I wanted much quicker! So, we lost 1000 ungrateful citizens, but in the meantime, both CazadorDeAmor and SheWolf grew [2 & 8 respectively]

Library completed in SheWolf at end of turn, as did Calendar, will get another Shaggy out (maybe whip) to start work on the necessary Plantations. Will tech Currency next as I need a Market to get the most out of the Ivory tile.

Already have one with Whosit as the his border popped just after hand-over, and you can just see the edge of Nakor/Gaspar's [they've speard as far east as I have] on the same screen-shot. And in the other one, look how close Kyan is!!!

That sounds good to me! It won't be appreciably soon, but i was more just floating the idea out there. I'll get to it as soon as i can. Obviously, if you were intending to actively spread it, i would ensure it got to you considerably faster. I'm not talking about ages away, just will prioritise my own cities
