Well 1 I think that in an AI-diplo game you've gone a little bit too far with tech thread messages, and 2 what kind of army do you have right now ? Is it close to Sian's stack ?

1) I got back late last night after a session at the pub, I think I was a tad restrained. My 2nd message maybe gave too much away though.
2) I'm currently spamming out Spears, and sending most south, to take on his Immortals at some stage; kind of hoped he wouldn't send Knights as they'd be used to fend off Khan (I guessed he was planning something with that weird copper trade - he made the same with Bob)

If you think you can stop Sian before he takes more than 2 cities it's worth trying to stop him. Also if you can get engineering or construction soon (less than 5t) it can make a difference.

Turn 111 (1020AD - Part Two
Made a cheeky counter-offer to Sian:
He won't accept. If I had allowed him Leon Cave, my game would be over as he'd have 10 turns to build up forces in a short hop to my capital.
Switched to Walls in Coughlan, which I'll whip next turn. All workers have downed tools & are heading to Rossi. Ruddock was pushed back into my culture, so he got upgraded to a Spear too. Nigel & Chris will try to sneak back home, doubt they'll make it!
So, I'm moving 11 Spears to join the Axe in Coughlan - added Adrian Mariappa, Brede Hangeland, Scott Dann & Yohan Cabaye to the roll-call this turn - as this will be my choke point ... hopefully. This does mean I have a Axe in Rhino, a Spear at both Letley & Cave - just hope Khan doesn't stab me in the back or Bob comes a-knocking while i'm concentrating elsewhere.

Turn 112 (1040AD)
Having now taken Kircher, Sian now demands just Coughlan for 10 turns of Peace. I've rejected that and countered with a Ceasefire.
I've whipped the Walls in Coughlan (lost 2 pop) and have an Axe and 3 Spears fortified. Should hold off the Knight, or 2, hanging around.
Yannick Bolasie & Wilifried Zaha joined the ranks this turn and there's 3 more due at the end of turn.
Oh yeah, I've just spotted Khan has a stack of Knights near Rhino and a lone Knight and a solo Axe near Letley - is he coming to help, or just going to take advantage of my distraction and attack?

Turn 113 (1040AD)
First the GOOD news: Sian asked for peace - not permanent ceasefire, so he'll be back in 10 turns. Not demanded anything, so that's a bonus. Will need to get machinery & Archery ASAP to have xbows waiting for him.
Now the BAD news: Khan's attacked! BASTARD took Rhino! And he's demanded both Parfitt AND Lancaster for peace. I initially rejected, by exiting diplomacy, but saw he has stacks of Knights poised to take both of these, plus Letley, which he seems to have forgotten to ask for, so I replayed and accepted. I've lost not only the Parthenon & National Epic, but also the foundation of Taoism!
Damn, my economy's buggered now! OK, it was bad before, but now it's completely fucked! Time to turtle down, build wealth were possible and get those xbows. Still going to build that Settler I started in Rossi to get the Stone/Banana city west of Cave.
At least Nigel Martyn & Chris Coleman made it to Letley! They'll fortify until I can afford to upgrade them. Thankfully, the Spears* that got built at end of last turn got thrown out on my side of the border with Khan, but Bolasie's stranded with a Lake in the way. Maybe, when Khan's culture pops, he'll be sent home.
*Emmanuel Adebayor & Lee Chung-yong joined the ranks.
Sent out some worker-parties for build random Roads. Will organise them next turn.

Turn 114 (1080AD)
As I surmised, increase in Khan's culture caused Bolasie to cross the Lake. Strange culture war with Khan too. He lost almost a full 1st ring between the 2 traded cities. In fact, Lancaster might ask to come back at this rate .. lol.
Not much else to report, some more roads built, I forget who did it though. Will pay more attention next turn.
Settler built at end of turn & Machinery completes at end of next turn.
