That's why Rowain is so grumpy.
If you know what I mean.

I'd guess Rowain, novice, Mattimeo, Meiz by now. I mean think about it: novice is still not dead, Mattimeos claim D1 made him near unlynchable, Rowain is not at all playing like usual and Meiz has still not delivered anything (+ the post restriction might be faked by novice and him - it certainly was odd that he could post numbers suddenly).

I think novice is scum and hoping Rowain mislynches himself, if he's town and thought my play was "too good" he should be following up on what I thought was important
IE: finding out who bussed thestick and dealing with the lurker problem

that was the same argument that almost got Meiz mislynched last game, he didn't deliver anything in ww15 either :D
poor novice may never get to play villager again :/
im starting to get suspicious of matt as well, but I'm not sure about Rowain. I've just decided I'm always wrong about Rowain, not to try anymore hehe.

It certainly would be useful to know Novice's alignment. I think there is still hope that the scum will confirm it, though.
Assuming he is innocent, how would people have played on day 1, as scum? I have to think the writing was on the wall at a very early point, in that case. He certainly looked doomed when Serdoa voted for him, but probably sooner than that, too.
Personally, I still think Rowain and Ichabod fit the bill for day 1 scum play.
A Catwalk/Merovech face-off was pretty terrible from an information gathering point of view. You can tell that scum are pulling the strings when there is no common thread to the lynches. I.e., first lynch a thestick voter, then lynch an erratic player, then lynch a lurker, then lynch a potential deep cover wolf, etc. People need to stop dicking about and make the actual tough calls, instead of choosing the path of least resistance for every lynch.
If you know what I mean.

I'm trying to figure out some game mechanical solutions for larger games, you will probably see some in the next game I run that gets lots of players
Planning to run Game of Thrones at some point and I have time to design it now I'm dead in this one

yay, game of thrones sounds fun
also since this game will last a few weeks, I was thinking of running a ww mini-game (im thinking assasin in the castle or something really simple like that) for people that are already dead. Or since the GM doesnt do anything but assign pre-set roles in that game and announce the role of the lynchee, maybe someone like Noble or Mardoc that doesnt want to play can do the random.org thing so I can play :D
probably 5-6 real days when there are more dead people, though.

If you're interested in a small game to occupy your time while you wait for this game to be over, there's the one I mentioned in the Live WW thread:
Quote:So, when researching for WW16 I was browsing through roles and open setups, and found this one:
Delusions
5 Players:
1 Wolf
4 Seers(1 sane, one insane, one naive, one paranoid)(Seers are not told their sanity)
Game starts with a kill-less night phase
Other than night 0, the wolf must kill at night, and the town must lynch at day.
This game is designed to be more of a logic puzzle. You have 4 seers: one who gets correct reads, one who gets incorrect reads, one who always reads innocent, one who always reads guilty, and a wolf throwing his own fake read into the mix. Everyone gets a free read before the game starts, so there is definite data to work on. With 5 players, this game will have two day periods and therefore only two chances for the village to lynch right, so it will be tense.
Which would be a good jaunt that would either run on the forum here, or with such a small amount, if everyone got on chat around the same time i think a game could be played in around an hour. Any of you interested in something like that?

yeah I saw that... I've seen it in the mafia wiki too where you found it... its more brain teaser than reading people... right up novice's alley I guess but he's still playing the real game But I like the poker aspect of WW as much as the analytical part... I'd prefer assasin in the castle - its ww, but very simple (no night phase, day phase could probably be 24 hours each).
For those not familiar there are only 3 roles -
1 assasin (the only scum)
1 king (town)
everyone else is a guard (town)
the assasin and the king get no info, but every guard knows who the king is. a person is lynched every day until the assasin is finally lynched (obviously the king won't be lynched, but the guards will because the king doesnt know who the guards are and the guards don't know who each other are). when the assasin is finally lynched he gets one "kill-shot" - if he hits the king, he wins, if he hits a guard, town wins
nice and simple, would be too boring to do a formal ww game but would be a fun minigame while we wait for the big game to finish. probably need 8-12 players tho, so maybe after a few more die.
