Ok, will try that, reporting just in iambic pentameter is getting tiring.

My civ crashes to a rundll error with the current save, so I reverted it back to Jkaen. Hopefully it works better on the second attempt.

Crash happened regardless of running DX9 or DX 10&11 version, and I was able to load the previous save just fine.

Probably my fault, I opted into the public beta of the upcoming fall patch but it seems that opening the PBEM save doesn't revert the build back to prepatch. I've uninstalled the beta (I think) so should be fine this time through.

Yep it works. I think there's some option to turn off the beta patch without uninstalling it, but I haven't tried it.
