From reading PBEM #2 Organizing we need to join in order.

As a reminder for everybody on the initial turn, don't pass the save until the next person in turn order has joined the game and don't join the game until the person before you has joined. I don't think there is a way to change turn order in PYDT yet.

Almost had a heart attack generating the game   After saving, I went to play through the first turn just to confirm that everything had loaded properly, and there were no resources anywhere on the map   After a moment of panic, I realized that the checkbox on the interface for showing resources had somehow been un-checked   Should be all good to go.

Starting save off to TheArchduke! Good luck! Let the mapmaker bashing begin

I don't know for sure but the resources not showing up might be a bug with multiplayer. They are never shown on the map when I would open the save, even if the box was check.

Should it not be Island Plates?

You may have to change the map type to 6-armed snowflake on the PYDT game. I don't know if that will cause an issue but if you have problems loading the save, that might be it.
