The Sinister Six: A Competitive EitB SG

I guess it doesn't matter much lol . The only thing is that I would probably prefer to report as I go along (which would be a definite no-no in - for example a MOO Imperium game), and be free to ask questions / get advice from lurkers (not that we're guaranteed to get any, of course). But if there's a competitive aspect to this, that's probably not appropriate.

Real answer:  nothing, really; back in the day (apparently as recently as 2015) RB would run SP challenges as either "Adventures" or "Epics".  Usually scenarios with minimal-to-moderate map alterations and a variant to overcome.  Not sure what the difference between an Adventure or Epic was, aside from game speed, but the terms carried over for the small number of FFH SP games RB sponsored circa 2012.

Shallow: I believe adventures and epics used to be sponsored single player challenges with imposed variants.  Now for the difference between those two,  no idea.  One is on epic speed?

Edit: nice crosspost, in that nobody seems to know what exactly those words mean smile

I think players got extra time to play through epics than adventures too, due mainly to the game speed. They started with Civ 3 originally because the Realms Beyond community at the time were dissatisfied with the way the GotMs were being run over at Civ Fanatics.
