WW 31 Game Thread PARANOIA

Quote:Why did you not comment on the assumption that you were a recharger? You could just deny it without claiming. It should be highly relevant since Serdoa had been accused based on claiming two trackings in one night.

Also, what were the results of your night actions?

I got all negatives for night actions.

Because I didn't want to out another players role and didn't mind getting targeted. Better explanation available but probably not playing.

You should get a trusted player to organize a claim order. Id say rowain or serdoa but untrusted by others so maybe catwalk. I trust serdoas reads more though so prefer him. Sorry for brevity.

Well it goes without saying what your own role is, Zak smile

Okay, whatever, I'm in a good mood, let's do this smile I can give an extra clone to a player who has already lost a clone. I gave one to Ryan on N2 and Q on N3. Sorry MJW, I was expecting you to be protected and I didn't want to double up. I was hoping I could somehow catch Rowain in a lie, but he's been really careful. He claimed credit for my clone on N2, and hasn't corrected anyone for giving him credit for Q's clone today, even though it's been quite a big part of discussion at times and one of the main things making people think he's town. I reckon it's because he knows that the moment he does claim credit for it, the one who really did it will bust him. So he doesn't deny it, but ignores it so he still gets the credit, but can talk his way out of it once something like this happens. He could claim the credit for Ryan's clone since he had the doc bot item, and since you don't get to know what the item does, even town Rowain would think he caused that to happen if he did use it on Ryan. Of course there's no guarantee that he did in fact use the item, and I'm quite confident it wouldn't even create a clone for a player, but protect them from an attack. If Rowain is scum he might still have both the items. Yay for reveals! smile

The power is called Charm. Flavor is that I'm banging a chick who can hook me up with extra clones to give away: She's in charge of producing them. Yes. smile

Absolutly. So what did you do N1,2,3?

Rowain parries, then thrusts! Jowy asks a point blank question ("Who did you use the item on"), Rowain ignores the question and deflects.

(January 26th, 2014, 16:57)Serdoa Wrote: I would like to know what you did too Jowy.

And also from the description of the item I would assume that it safes someone once against a kill. Therefore telling who he used the item on isn't really helping much imo, but assuming he is a villager (and so scum does not know whom he used it on) it is hurting quite a bit by telling them freely.

And then Serdoa answers for Rowain pretty quickly and doubles up on the deflection, I suppose to bury Jowy's question of who Rowain used the item on. Did that ever get answered? (And I mean by a credible source, not by Rowain's spokesman).

Then to quickly move the conversation elsewhere,

(January 26th, 2014, 16:59)Serdoa Wrote: Also I think you both are town (as well as novice and Q) so maybe we could start trying to hunt wolves instead making our lives harder? I think the players that really need the most pressure right now are

Ichabod
xenu

These 3 have not even chimed in at all. Merovech did but I'm not sure that one post counts wink And zak I would love to hear some thoughts from you on the general situation.

Oh good, Serdoa thinks Jowy and Rowain are both town, no further investigation needed! Whew, dodged one there! Good job, Super-BFF Tandem! thumbsup No need to answer these pesky questions, let's just look somewhere else...LOOK A WITCH! OVER THERE! rolf

Btw her being in charge of producing them might not mean what you think it means, but I don't regret wording it like that lol

Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.

1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.

2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.

3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.

4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.
