Speaking of insane tanking, I'll be here this week, but will miss 03/21 and 03/24 sessions as I'll be in Florida helping my Mom out with some things.

If I remember everyone's schedule correctly, we need to try for Dury on Thursday.

Up tonight--more tomb-raiding!

Like Cy, I will be away next week, as it is my spring break and I will be in London visiting my brother (who is studying abroad this semester). There is an outside chance that I could make the session on 3/24 if I can find Internet access, but still rather remote. In other words, we definitely need to run Duriel this week on Thursday! smile

Ideal case: We get through 3 more non-Kaa tombs tonight and have only the true tomb left on Thursday anyway. The odds of that happening? Probably not so good. wink

After much hard slogging through the False Tombs, the Rogues are now ready to head into the True Tomb of Tal Rasha to do battle with Duriel in their next session. Against all odds, our fashion-conscious heroes managed to clear out three non-Kaa false tombs last night in order to fulfill their quota. It may have taken them a bit longer than your typical group of adventurers to do it (almost 4 1/2 hours for 3 false tombs!) but the Rogues have never put much emphasis on speed. thumbsup

It was a bad day for bosses! Here's a sampling of what was killed down in the false tombs:

So - 20 bosses destroyed just in last night's session alone. I thought a compilation picture might give an indication of what last night's session was like: fun but grueling. I think I speak for the group when I say that I'm ready to move on to Act 3 and get out of these smelly tombs! smile

I wanted to let you guys know that I will be among the missing Thursday 3/24 - we're going out of town (yet again) for a trip to the coast. smile

In that same vein, I'll reiterate that I'll be missing the first half of the session on Thursday to Holy Thursday mass.

I'm likely to be missing tonight as well. I called my cable company to cancel my TV service, since now that football season's long over I don't have much to watch. The same company also provides my high speed internet. I specifically told them (I remember repeating myself several times) that I only wanted to cancel the TV service, but wanted to keep the internet service running. Naturally, when I got home last night from work, I discovered that I still had TV service, but no internet. rolleye

I'm pretty pessimistic about their ability to get me online tonight. Needless to say, don't wait up.

Alright, so it looks like the head cold that's been trying to get ahold of me all week has finally succeeded. As my reflexes can now be measured on the same scale as molassas pouring out of a soy sauce bottle, I believe I'll save my Rogue the indignity of having to scream in death a thousand times. See you all on Monday.

I'm not going to be able to play, either. Did not sleep properly the last three nights and it has caught up to me. I'm out of gas.

I'm posting this for Hawk, and for the ones who won't be there at all. I'll tell ME0003 and Jaffa in person, then I'm crashing.

Monday it is, then. smile

If, perchance, your parents live over 25 years in the same home, on land your family homesteaded, on a road named after your family, and your Dad dies, and your Mom decides to sell the thing, but needs help deciding what to trash/keep and needs help with said trashing/keeping, you could, for example, take a week off from work and go try to help. After all, she's your Mom, right?

Alternately, you could run, run like the wind.

Having chosen option "A", I heartily recommend option "B".

RUN!

In other news, I'm back from Florida and I should be online Monday to resume the hostilities wink
