If he hadn't made that early vote for thestick, I'd be really up for lynching him and he really seems to be holding on to that (I'm probably not the only one basing Novice's innocence only on that). Everytime he attacks me, something seems to be missing, He's been talking of lynching me since forever, based on Zak's read, but he lacks the villager killing eye, like if he's afraid that my mislynch will reveal his cover.
.
... this is EXACTLY how I felt about novice in ww14
also, Im gonna be dissappointed if no one gets mod-killed at end of day :D

I've seen it in the mafia wiki too where you found it... its more brain teaser than reading people... right up novice's alley I guess but he's still playing the real game But I like the poker aspect of WW as much as the analytical part... I'd prefer assasin in the castle - its ww, but very simple (no night phase, day phase could probably be 24 hours each).
For those not familiar there are only 3 roles -
1 assasin (the only scum)
1 king (town)
everyone else is a guard (town)
the assasin and the king get no info, but every guard knows who the king is. a person is lynched every day until the assasin is finally lynched (obviously the king won't be lynched, but the guards will because the king doesnt know who the guards are and the guards don't know who each other are). when the assasin is finally lynched he gets one "kill-shot" - if he hits the king, he wins, if he hits a guard, town wins
nice and simple, would be too boring to do a formal ww game but would be a fun minigame while we wait for the big game to finish. probably need 8-12 players tho, so maybe after a few more die.
Sounds fun, I'd be up for it. Brick's setup doesn't appeal to me, as it would ONLY revolve around deduction. Need subjective reads, too, to create interesting discussion.
If you know what I mean.

I'm not married to the idea, I just thought it sounded cool.
I'd be up for a game of Assassin in the Castle myself.

brick - I think it'd be good for a live game, last time we only got 6-8 people to show up for that anyway

Yes, that would be lovely. Earl Grey, one sugar, no milk.
Maybe you could catch up the night action log?

Oh yeah, night action log. I will have to wait and do that tonight, I'm limited to the iPad til later tonight, and it doesn't play nice with Google docs.

k, Ill probably launch a sign-up thread after night 4 to gauge interest - I think somewhere between 10 and 15 players would be perfect, and if we don't get enough right away we can keep it open, hopefully as more people die in the main game they will join up.

Heh, oh noes multiple games at once!
I actually think that could be very good though. After this game, based on what people have said and the amount of player interest, I think I'm feeling a move to maybe having two smaller games going on, overlapping or no, as compared to just one giant game. This allows for more flexibility for people with shorter/smaller games, more chances to try different playstyles, and so on.

WTF. The "tinkerer" suspects the "cloaker" for his nom de guerre?
I mean... Pot, Kettle, etc.
If you know what I mean.
