At what point do we start looking for a new player?

As a heads up, Cyneheard has kindly agreed to sub for me this upcoming week when I'm away. He's slightly spoiled he says, but he will just be following a micro plan and moving the warrior in the general direction I say, so I hope that isn't an issue.

It's currently been 5 days since I sent the save without a word from him. If we don't hear from him by the time your back, then I'd say definitely start looking for a new player.

Seriously though, I think cjreynol has managed to play a turn in under 24 hours exactly once so far. My experience with MP games may be limited but that can't be right, can it?

Cj, I hope everything is ok. You logged in to RB less than 2 days ago but have had the save for going on 5. Can you at least let us know what's going on, whether you need a team-mate, or whether we should just start over?

I seem to be having difficulty (not sure why) getting at your game's tracker, since I'm subbing for Shoot The Moon. Can someone be sure to drop an email when the save gets to me (with the save), since I may forget given the...erratic...nature of when this game goes on.

It's been 15 days, I think its been long enough.

What does everyone want to do?

A) Find a replacement for Cj and continue/restart this game
B) Find a new player and start a new game
C) Start a new game with just the 4 of us
D) Continue waiting

I vote A, although I wouldn't mind B if the new player wanted it.

If you do start all over again and want another player I would be interested.

Though I have read Silentconfusions thread and posted there too, so it really would only be an offer if you start all over and don't mind a sixth player.

I sent a PM to Silent and Shoot about this, as we need their input before we do something. Although Silent hasn't been online for 10 days so I'm not sure if he's with us anymore either.

I'd be fine with mackoti taking over for Cjreynol. I'd also understand if he wanted to re-pick leaders/civs, as, to put it bluntly, picking Mali with the 3rd pick was quite weedy If we were to pick new civ/leaders, I think we would need a new map though, as having 4 players know the map before picking would be quite unfair.

If Silent is also gone, I'd also be ok with just calling the game off.
