bah, uberfish is being dense there. my response was "this is against the rules, you need to ask the GM, not me." Saying that is breaking the rules is silly and a bit disingenuous. Especially since I immediately revealed everything in the game thread.

You did the same and mentioned what I wrote. You rewrote it in your own words. I wrote it as it was.

you quoted, which was the problem. its not against the rules to say "I got the a pm, this is what is said." it is against the rules to quote pms. should be obvious why - you can be lying in the first case, the latter case is solid proof.

also the whole interchanged pretty much proved you were innocent by an out of game mechanic, which violates the spirit of the game. I realize that wasn't your intention, I'm not mad at you and don't think badly of you because of it - but it necessitated the mod-kill.

Thats Why I wrote in the live thread : " I suicide" then a good bye post did not reveal anything but saying good luck and then did I open this thread and post in it. I respect you for enforcing the rules but I honestly didnt mean to cheat or open this thread to post knowledge in the live thread.

So tasunke was giving you the info from the lurker thread. I noticed you sent me a PM pretty much immediately after bigger posted that defending yourself, so I had been wondering if you were reading the lurker thread yourself at that point.

yes he told me that bigger was trying to mod kill me and I wrote that first thing here. I did not gain any other information from him or here. The second I got that information I sucided the from the game thread. I dont mind getting mod killed, I mind being labeled a cheater when I am not.

Tasunke, you telling me that bigger was trying to mod kill me. and no you didnt try " to get me to stop " you told me this and I ended up sending brick pms defending my self. Also bigger, the only reason I mentioned that pm is because of you writing this :

Bigger : also, in the spirit of full disclosure. I got a pm from Ryan today asking me if it was possible to suicide yourself. I told him he needs to ask Brick this, and that it was against the rules for us to pm privately. he responded with a "my bad, didn't know" post.

I'll respond to that here Ryan: if Brick lets you, please don't. thats a bad idea for the village, imo. Unless you are scum, then please kill yourself smile. ---------------------

You mentioned that pm and broke that rule. All you had to do was tell Brick and not mention it in thread if you rly wanted to follow the rules and not add an element that could cause me trouble in this game. If me linking the pm was cheating, then you doing the above was the same.

Honestly Ryan, you just tried too hard. Same thing Tasunke (or Qg) does every game. Everything works better if you just take a deep breath and let the game play out some - that's necessary if you're village or scum, but it can be very hard for a newbie villager. We've seen new players go through what you went through before and I don't think anyone will hold it against you, so don't worry about that - learn from it and move on.

I did think uber's reaction to the Ryan situation was pretty scummy. It was just way too obvious for a player of his caliber. Not saying I think he's scum, but he's definitely back on my maybe list.

I think I've convinced myself zak is guilty.
