Okay I've located the problem. It's the graphics card. Goes all matrix on me :P
Thought it might have overheated and broke, but updating the drivers seems to have fixed the issues.. at least for the moment. I'll see if it holds up.

Well I need to buy a new video card. Could take a few days or a few weeks depending on what I go for and whether the stores here have it ready. I would prefer waiting, but I won't hold up the game if you guys want to get a sub or a replacement.
