clickbait meme. We are in a sadly fairly normal scenario where one power is invading a country and the other side is supplying arms to the resistance. Its more blatant than normal, but still its hardly the start of WWIII.

I am interested if Putin will actual declare war vs Ukraine. That would be a major step. Russia will be hard pressed to win without doing so (needed to both mobilize and deploy reserves in foreign soil as well as refocus industry). Its not an accident Jill Biden showed up a day before / there have been several announcements of continued support from various western nations. Trying to send message to Russia the west is willing to supply long term. As long as the west is committed to supplying Ukraine's war effort they have an actual shot. Putin's best shot at this point now that his quick campaign is a bust is the west has a short attention span (legitimate strategy).

In worldwide news, it seems like this China heatwave and drought is going to be a big deal for all kinds of supply chains (IE inflation and shortages). I expect China may take global warming more seriously going long now.

How are you folks in Europe fairing? I know you are also facing drought.

In more serious notes. This is I think the 4th drought in the last 10 years or so. We also have widespread forest fires here in Germany, which is a totally new thing for me

I come with you. Too bad they aren't part of the EU and Schengen even though they are connected with Denmark
