Slaze and Plako seem to be in a 'us vs. them' mode and do not care about winning and stoping Spulla winning. I would call the game for Spulla if Dantski joins them.

I think that 'intense competitiveness' and 'spoiler threads' do not go together.

He would say 'you will not get an edge' instead of 'I'll will beat you'. He is counting on Spulla "helping" him.

Now that I think about 'I'll beat you' might be totally BS. I'll guess I see when he updates his thread.

The defender can guess win the attacker is gonna attack so it may or may not be intentional.

Slaze was never going to be able to ally with Kathlete and Whoisit because he is the natural place for them to expand into.

For Korea, they need Spulla to break the power of the mediterranean alliance so they can make some gains, either against Whoisit or Nakor. If they joined them by going against Spulla they would be surrounded by enemies on 3 sides with nothing to save them.

Later when the world situation is far more suited to them, then they can think about aiming for the win, by teaming up against Spulla.

Looks like plako forgot to disband that axe.

Especially if you consider that it was Speaker who saved India.

True, however that is why they teamed up. Sullla is the peace time master cottager and speaker is the god of war - a well balanced team, and more importantly for them - the only team that has stuck togeter fully during the whole game so far.

Yes they are a strong team no doubt about that.

But Sullla's reaction to the enemies entering his borders where simple crycry and talking about how unfair it is so he has no right to talk about 'how other react to wardeclarations'.

OTOH he is often right in describing his opponents moves as smoke which makes it hard to tell him when he has gone too far without spoilers.

I think that is just his writing style though, he is quite abrasive, however atleast you know where you stand with him......... Unless you look at his diplomatc messages that would make a true diplomat take pause and read it through carfuly
