So I've just been spending some time looking at the game and opponents cities. Rock Im Park (Rome) has to be the city that Jowy referred to as building the mid's a while back. I don't know if Ruff changed it or not but he's going to lose them as he's only got about 120 hammers or so invested. Seven's capital (Alpha Centauri) has 319 hammers invested into something. I don't believe he has Literature or Calendar so I think it can really only be the mid's. I let Ruff know so we'll see if it pays off at all.

Also TRD's former barb city on his starting island...Humility has 116 or 119 or something so I'm curious to know what he's building there. Could it be Moai? Or is he making a run at the mid's or something? Curious...

Well I must have miscalculated how many hammers TRD had as he completed The Hanging Gardens this turn. I wish it had been Nakor or me . Also Seven completed The Great Library at EOT 110 so again...it really should have been anybody but him. His GNP is off the charts. The other not so good news was I lost my galley to that stupid barb galley. Not good. I'll be pumping a couple of Triremes shortly. Now it's just a matter of where that barb galley goes as he could seriously annoy the start of St. John's. I'm hoping it heads towards Charlottetown as I should have a Trireme just in time for it's arrival. Oh and the pic doesn't show it but I have completed Stonehenge in Fredricton. The last bit of good news...I'm now first in production and occupy that spot by myself, oh and 4th in pop.

T112 - Played last night.

The only thing of note was that I got my silks from Montreal hooked up. T113 I'll turn on research and knock currency out in a few turns. A little bit of diplo has occurred, I should be able to get that posted later today.

Hopefully it mostly just shows that I am ahead in tech. Which isn't too surprising given the great lighthouse and oracle. Keep in mind too that I have very poor land area; it's not all roses over here. (Though I'm not complaining.)

Does Beaker overflow work similar to hammer overflow where you'll lose your hammers if you select a smaller build?

Hey Nakor,

What's going on in your neck of the woods? Doesn't sound promising if Ruff has ended his NAP. You gonna be ok? At this point in time I don't think we need an NAP, especially one that long ! Neither one of us should be in danger from the other. So long as you have a safe border with TRD then you should be able to withstand Ruff if he actually tries something. Who knows if he will though as Praetorian's are nearing the end of their period of domination. Also, I doubt you're behind tech wise like me so you should be ok.

No. Beaker overflow is unlimited and persists indefinitely, until you research a tech that's expensive enough to consume all the overflow.
