Didn't we sacrifice you already? I lose track of these things...
Posted in the IT thread, just to give the bit players a chance to object. But looks like this highly entertaining game is coming to an end .

I'm really intrigued by this. TBS, I was really afraid of sinking my early game research with all these cities planted so far from the capital early on. That plus happiness concerns was why I settled north first. I know this was a long time ago to remember, but do you recall what the expenses looked like after that plant? Was I just scared of ghosts and I just needed to push on to settle it regardless?

One thing I would like to know from all players. You were playing with the "True AI diplo" game option which allowed Embargos, Make Peace, Declare War and other stuff in the diplomacy. What's your opinion about this?

I wasn't quite sure how it would work. I had a rather extravagant Declare War offer given to me at one point - and so I guess if I had accepted then would all of those parties immediately gone to war? Could have really been a weird point in the game if I had.

I liked it. If it was possible to add some sort of NAPs into it, it would be perfect but this is easier said then done.

All I ever got, diplomatically, were the fish/fish deals and the rather less clear iron/iron and copper/copper deals, which I've never figured out what they mean.

Well you also got a nice little island to sit on :P

I'm not sure how much I like the AI diplo with resource offer charades as the only way to communicate. There were several parts of the game where things could have gone a lot differently if I'd been able to arrange NAPs or just say "hey, we need to focus on X player right now instead of fighting".

I love the AI diplo this game had, just wish i had not been in what i saw ( despite my overwhelmingly bad play(s) ) as an unwinnable start.

No doubt. Just saying, I still haven't figured out what iron/iron or copper/copper mean. I know fish/fish means peace - I assume the metal ones mean alliance?
